Mobile phones have become an unavoidable aspect of modern life. Despite the fact that they have made communication much easier in every aspect of our everyday lives, some individuals believe that they should be limited to public locations such as libraries, malls, and public transportation. I wholeheartedly support the viewpoint, and the reasons for this will be explained more below.

To begin with, public areas are normally supposed to be quiet and calm in order to be acceptable to everyone, and the use of mobile phones in such situations is likely to disrupt the desired working environment.

For example, at a library where people are reading, continual cellphone ringtones or phone conversations will be distracting or irritating.

Second, the use of mobile phones for enticing activities such as Facebook chatting, taking pictures, playing games, listening to music, and so on can be hazardous in public settings. Teenagers are shooting pictures everywhere these days, including libraries, trains, buses, roadways, and hospitals, which is a source of annoyance. On the one hand, using mobile phones in public areas might distract and divert other people's attention. For example, at libraries, people concentrating on reading books can be easily distracted by the ringtones of incoming calls or those talking loudly on the phone. Mobile phone use in public areas, such as hospitals, can easily interfere with medical equipment, causing injury to the patient. Furthermore, talking on the phone can aggravate the discomfort of patients sitting in the waiting area to see the doctor. When someone bumps into a department shop, mobile phones can easily slip from the hand, causing not only damage to the gadgets but also blocking the entire line at the billing counter. The ambiance at shopping malls, stores, and other public places is frequently highly noisy, and talking on cell phones adds an extra decibel. Furthermore, its use in music galleries or prayer rooms might cause discomfort for others and detract from their amusement or contributions.
