In order to create a park with amenities like golfing, fishing, and swimming, the majority of the trees in the area surrounding the hospital were cut down. Not to mention, a brand-new marina was constructed next to the railroad station. To sum up, Youngsville appeared to be a residential region with a rural environment and plenty of greenery in 1980. But by 2005 it had transitioned to an urban, industrial landscape.

The hospital was surrounded by woods. To the east of the lake, there were a few houses. To the south of the tiny river Alanah, there were a number of simple amenities like a school, an airfield area, and woods. A home, a few trees, and a railroad station could be seen to the east of the facility. The hospital, school, and airport sections stayed the same despite numerous changes throughout the years, including the addition of a stadium and factories. In the city, several trees were cut down and entire houses were destroyed in 2005. The railway that connected the north and south was lengthened, and a marina was located to the east of it. A stadium was built in the city's north, taking the place of several homes that had been east of the lake. There was a warehouse in the midst of the land to the south of the city, and manufacturers were scattered all around it. Two buildings have been built in the place of the previous dwellings and trees to the east of the warehouse.

In order to build a major stadium and an extension to the railway line, residences along the coast had to be demolished. While more activity is taking place around the lake, the hospital stays in its initial location. Finally, in 2005, a marina was constructed to the right of the railway. The railway between the north and south was extended, and a marina was built to the east of it. Several adjustments were also made in the south of the river. Once more, forests and other natural areas were destroyed to make room for companies and storage facilities. In 2005, numerous trees were down in the city and complete homes were damaged. Likewise, where homes formerly stood 25 years ago, skyscrapers now stand in their stead. No damage was done to the school, parking lot, or airport. In conclusion, Youngsville appeared to be a residential area in 1980 with a rural setting and lots of greenery. However, it had changed to an urban, industrial landscape by 2005.
