Band 8 IELTS Answer

This map shows the location of Australia's beaches in 1950 and how they have changed today. From an overall perspective, it is clear that leisure facilities and vehicular access to beaches are increasing. The beach itself has not changed.

In 1950, an underdeveloped area had a road that ended at a parking lot above the beach. Street and the parking lot still exist, but both the size of the parking lot and the length of his Street have been expanded. Today the road leads to the lighthouse (also present in 1950 ) and the newly built surfing club on the beach. A small pool, 25 meters long, remains near the lighthouse.

Little has changed to this day, with the exception of the children's play area, which in 1950 included a play area, dining table area and pavilion below the street, which was replaced by additional parking spaces. Closer to the beach, the 25 meter pool has been expanded to 50 meters. To the left of the beach there is currently a restaurant and another surf club.

From 1950 to the present, this image illuminates transformations in Australian beach areas; it presents crucial data--a visual chronicle of temporal change.

One can discern a myriad of developments and improvements underway in the beachfront facilities and surrounding area. To begin, in 1950 the road preceding the beach exhibited a notably short length. However, significant changes have occurred since then – notably, widening of this pathway leading directly to our beloved shoreline and expansion towards its periphery with an extended parking lot.

A small parking lot, directly merging into the street heading into town, replaced the playground across in 1950. The current restaurant, reconstructed on the beach's left side, now extends one pool to a distance of 50 meters; in contrast - during 1950 - it measured only 25 meters. The size remains identical for both pools. The addition of two new surf club facilities on both sides of the previously undeveloped beach is underway.

The photo shows a floor plan of the coastal promenade in 1950 and today.

In 1950 there were few public facilities on the beach. From the top left corner, a road led to the right towards the only parking lot in the area.

On the right side of the road was a children's play area, dining table and pavilion. Additionally, the lighthouse on the bottom right and his two 25 meter ponds (next to it and to the left) were also featured on the map. However, major changes have been made to the design of this location. The most notable development was the L-shaped extension of the road to the lighthouse.

The original parking lot, dining table and pavilion remain, but the playground has been replaced with a brand new parking lot. In addition, a new surf club was built between the lighthouse and the adjacent pool, doubling the size of the other pool.

To the left of this new pool, another surf club and new restaurant were also built. In general, coastal areas were further developed over time, with several new dining and surfing facilities being built. Of particular note is the fact that the road infrastructure has improved significantly to date, allowing access to more amenities in the region.
