Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

The world has become so competitive that people do not get time for themselves. Everyone is running behind something. Some are running behind in jobs, money, family, health and so many others. Every day people are hustling and it has become a significant part of the lives of working people. This happens especially for working individuals.

There was a time when people used to get sufficient sleep, rest, and energy to work for the next day. They had time to think and work for themselves. Nowadays, we do not get that free time. Employees are always stressed about deadlines, tasks, and the unhealthy competition that exists in almost all corporate offices. They do not get time to look after their health. The pressure from the management or peers eats up and consumes their life. This has become a habit and it is taking so much from working people. We are moving towards a world where the youth are physically unhealthy and mentally anxious. The most important reason is the lack of physical activities, like exercises and yoga. With the advent of machines, humans have become very dependent on it. basic physical activities like cycling, climbing stairs, etc are done via machines. You don't need to walk because you have a car. You don't have to climb stairs because your office has a lift. These things might help you in the short term but they are affecting your health adversely in the long term. The employees sit on a chair for the whole day. This hugely impacts their spine and back which may result in something severe.

Working life is full of anxiety and stress and the constant urge to check our phones and social media websites has made us fully dependent on technology. Now, the question is, what is the solution to this problem? The solution is subjective in nature. If you are a person who works night shifts, try to complete your sleep in the afternoon without any disturbance. You'll feel refreshed when you have a good sleep. If you are someone who constantly worries about work, you need to maintain a work-life balance. Try to leave your office tension to the office only and spend time with your family and friends when you are home. It is suggested not to sit on a chair for the whole day. One should take a 5-minute walk break every 30 minutes. This gives rest to the back. Nowadays, offices are also introducing physical training sessions. Attending those sessions will help employees a lot.

Exercises and physical activities are very important for our health. Neglecting these things just to make some more money will one day go in vain. Someone has said it right, Health is Wealth. if you are fit and fine, you can earn more money. If you are ill, you will end up in hospitals spending money on treatment. There is no sense in that.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

We are living in a modern world and every person wants to be successful these days. They work with their best potential to earn a good salary and live their lives happily but even after earning a handsome remuneration, are these working people actually happy? The answer is no because they have invested themselves in the process of making money and they don't have time for their health and well-being now.

The health of most working people is worsening day by day. There are several incidents of heart-related diseases among people who were stressed and give most of their time to their work only. It doesn't mean that one should stop working. There should be a proper work-life balance so that you can enjoy your life and work happily too.

There are many employees who are always in constant tension about how they're going to complete a particular task. They also worry about not having time to spend with their loved ones. Work is important but so is your family. There're many divorces across the world because of the lack of time commitment by the couple in the relationship. Not just romantic relationships, people aren't invested in most of their relationships, even friendships, because they don't have the time to spend with their friends. People are losing friends and families because of the hustle culture in companies today and when they are stressed, they find themselves alone most of the time. To solve this problem, the government can take some initiatives like arranging physical activities for the employees. The company can help the employees by organizing regular parties and other functions so that the employees can get rid of the office tension and enjoy themselves with their colleagues.

Once you find yourself getting too invested in your work you start ignoring your physical health. Mental stability and social relations are not easy to come out of when you have got the responsibility of your family. Always remember that you can give your best to the work only when you're physically fit and mentally tension-free.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Everyone desires a good job with a big salary to have a better lifestyle. In today's world, tension and stress are very common. People do not even get the time to relieve stress. Employees from many companies face similar problems, they're overloaded with work and get no time to spend on their personal well-being.

It is important to understand that ignoring your health will have adverse effects on your body as well as your mind. If you are not healthy, you can not continue to work long. Most employees today feel burdened with work and keep thinking about what will be the next task to complete. It may look like this has no effects but it worsens our state of mind and concentration level. People find it difficult to think about anything other than work.

There are many companies that always try to motivate their employees by providing them with good perks as well as the opportunity to learn and grow. Such companies organize festive parties so that the employees can get to know each other and establish good workplace relationships. It is also important for employees to manage some time from their busy schedule for physical activities like exercise or yoga. These are very important for your health and you'll find yourself refreshed after these activities. Whenever you are tense, try to meditate for 10-15 minutes. Do not focus on anything during this time. Just try to relax and calm your breathing. It is not impossible to manage at least 10-15 minutes from your daily schedule. So try to prioritize your health along with your work because there is no point in working so hard to achieve your dreams if you won't be healthy enough to enjoy the perks in the future. Work on yourself, maintain your body and mind, choose to be happy, and establish a work-life balance and you'll feel happier than ever.
