Band 7 IELTS Essay

Physical education is one of the components of the curriculum in the majority of educational systems around the world. The argument that sport should not be taught in schools makes this a contentious issue. The argument that physical education is an important component of education is in opposition to this.

By exposing kids to various sports and making sure that those who are not naturally athletic are made aware of the benefits of exercise. Physical education was brought into schools to encourage a healthy lifestyle. Even having a sports lesson might not be important for pupils who are already very active. Those who don't have the opportunity or who don't come from active households rely on schools as their primary source of physical activity. A school is also expected to teach students on many different levels, with healthy living as a crucial component. Exercise must be practised in order for kids to understand the benefits; it is not enough to just talk about it in class. One of the benefits is that physical activity improves one's ability to focus and work efficiently. Hence having sports as a subject is advantageous to other disciplines as well. On the other hand, requiring pupils to exercise in class can have the opposite impact because exercise is, in part, a personal matter. Due to their unfavourable experiences and memories associated with it, this feeling may cause pupils to decide later not to participate in any sports. Another claim is that since exercise is a leisure activity, it is unrelated to school and ought to be done outside of the classroom. In conclusion, physical education is crucial for pupils to participate in, despite the fact that it can have unfavourable effects. There is a duty to enlighten people in this area because some pupils are only exposed to a healthy lifestyle in schools.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Due to how important it is for both boys and girls to exercise and be a part of a team, having sports instruction is a requirement in many school schedules. Due to several strong arguments, I tend to agree with this statement to a significant extent. Kids' social skills are improved by participating in team sports, which is the primary underlying argument.

Engaging in a sport would first and foremost improve a child's communication skills. It would also likely improve their understanding of collaboration. Or to put it another way, students are entirely focused on their main classes. For example, mathematics or science. Since they do not spend a lot of time interacting with their classmates, communication will be a major problem for them when they are adults. As an effective illustration, consider playing football on the school team. Children will have the chance to work through team issues and strategies while doing so, which will help them develop social skills. The ability to release tension is a significant additional benefit of boys and girls participating in sports at school. Simply said, attending school and engaging in all the challenging courses and studies places a very heavy burden on their shoulders. Therefore by designating a set time for exercising and moving around, they are able to relieve the stress and strain brought on by their schedule and tests. A good example of this would be the exam that students must pass at the end of each semester in order to advance to higher grades. Exercising can uplift students' spirits and offer them the chance to learn more effectively. In conclusion having periods set out for physical activity in schools can help boys and girls not only with their social skills but also with their academics. It will also enhance their overall health including physical and mental.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

There is no denying that sports are important for kids, thus it would be amusing if a young athlete had the chance to play during class time. I believe that both boys and girls should have the chance to play as part of a lesson. But not in an excessive fashion, for health development and recreational activities. Consequently, I concur with the assertion made.

First and foremost, health is riches. A school-age child won't be able to retain good health if they don't get the chance to play. Sports like football and cricket, for instance, teach kids and adults how to use certain tactics while also promoting a healthy lifestyle free of illness. For instance, playing sports like football or cricket enables a child or adult to learn the necessary skills while also preserving their overall health. Sport instruction cannot be ignored in a school because it is essential for students' development. Another drawback of constant classroom instruction is that it might make students bored. Playing events might be a terrific way to break up the boredom in this situation. It will serve as entertainment as well. For instance, educational institutions may arrange their lessons so that they incorporate a sporting activity. This would undoubtedly appeal to both male and female young people. As a result, they will enjoy going to school. On the negative side, it can be harmful to spend too much time participating in sports at school. It is not a good idea to ignore other topics like English, Mathematics, etc. if you want to maintain good health and have a stress-free mind. By not going beyond in any one area, everything must be completed within the allotted time. As a result, schools should include physical education in their curricula in order to fit it into their time constraints. Physical education sessions have a significant positive impact on a young person's intellect. Despite the fact that there may be some drawbacks, advantages outweigh drawbacks by a wide margin. The aforementioned discussion makes it clear, in my opinion, that there should be sport lessons in the school curriculum where all genders can engage.
