Urbanization has affected our environment deeply. The growing number of people, their activities, and increased demand for daily resources are the main causes for losing the natural beauty spots. Industrial revolution, urbanization and increased population is affecting the environment and natural spots. These are causing us to lose the natural beauty spots. We humans can prevent this and stop the further loss of the natural habitat.
The growth in the population has amplified the impact on our environment and resulted in the loss of natural landscapes. We must put a high value and focus towards protecting the environment. Mother nature has provided us with beautiful landscapes which we should value. Not only do these natural landscapes provide a soothing environment but it also helps to keep the environment clean and healthy. With the increase in urbanization, the demand also increases. People need new places to build roads, apartment buildings, offices and shops. This has caused us to lose some beautiful natural spots. We should try to restrict horizontal use of land. The cities can grow vertically which will lessen the use of land and natural beauty spots. The natural beauty spots or landscapes provide health benefits. Trees and plants provide us with oxygen, water bodies provide us with fresh water. Natural beauty spots not only provide health benefits, but also provide revenue for the countries. People from all over the world come to see the natural beauty. This increases the revenue of the government which comes from travellism. For example, the living root bridge of Cherrapunji is one of its kind. It is naturally made from roots of trees formed together. These natural beauty spots increase the attraction of the people. If these were to be demolished for urbanization, we would lose the heritage and precious spots of nature. The problem of urbanization is increasing day by day. We can solve this with planning and avoiding the places that hold these natural habitats.

Urbanization is the largest growing problem of our society. The number of people is increasing day by day with the limited number of spaces to dwell. This is affecting the natural beauty spots of nature. If this is not controlled, we would not have a nature to dwell in. I still remember when I was in school, we used to go to a spot from where we used to see the sunset. It was a beautiful spot on the hills covered with pine trees. That place is now filled with multistory buildings and shopping malls.

This is how urbanization is affecting our world. Due to the increasing urbanization, the environment is degrading very rapidly. This has caused various problems like housing, worsening water quality, excessive air pollution, noise, dust and heat. One of the most observed problems is the disposal of solid wastes and hazardous wastes into the environment. These are creating the natural beauty of the environment getting affected. These wastes fill up the beautiful beaches which in turn affects the underwater animals. This waste also makes the beach look dirty. Hence, lesser people are attracted towards it. As urbanization increases, it also destroys the forests which provide us with life supporting oxygen. Plants help reduce global warming. If we do not stop the extended urbanization, we might see the end of the world. Hence, people should start planning to save the natural beauty spots of the environment. In my opinion, we should first keep control of the population. The governments of many countries have started doing seminars on family planning. Some countries have restricted a couple to have more than 2 children. With the present population, people should learn to use as much space as it is required for them. We do not need a huge land or home to stay. Smaller houses will reduce the usage of landscape and hence, cause lesser use of the natural beauty areas. This is what we can do as individuals to save the natural spots that we have left in our environment.

Urbanization is the increase of population and the amount of industrial settlements around us. This has caused a drastic harm to the environment. We are losing beautiful natural spots around us. Although it is impossible to restrict urbanization it has to be ensured that urbanization proceeds in the right path causing minimum impact on the environment. To do this, we need to control how to treat the environment. We must restrict the use of hazardous waste and discard them to the environment. The natural beauty of the environment is getting affected with the increase in factories, buildings and other concrete structures. The increase in population will require new spaces for people to stay. This will definitely require more land space which will affect the beauty of nature. The first step that we need to do is control the population. Parents need to understand that an increase in population will excessively affect the natural resources around the environment. The government also plays a huge part in controlling and preventing the damage of natural beauty spots. The government should identify these spots so that people will not be able to use them for any other purposes. Instead of using the land to build homes and apartments, the government and the contractors can go vertically and build multiple floors of one building. This will help us to use lesser land spaces. Hence, we will be able to save the natural environment around us. The lakes, ponds and rivers are drying up. Global warming is having an impact on the environment. All these could be stopped if we work smartly and create an awareness to protect the natural spots. I believe that this is a problem in many countries. People need to be made aware of the situation we are in. The government should educate people on how they can save their natural beauty. Once every individual is aware of the consequences, they will try to protect the environment. I believed with proper education, knowledge and guidelines, we will be able to protect the natural beauty spots of the environment.
