Nowadays, it's common practice to encourage kids to work part-time jobs during their free time. Although it aids in instilling confidence and the habit of hard effort in children, it also has significant disadvantages.
Part-time employment will firstly assist the kids in comprehending. In addition, it will also allow them to experience the challenges and sufferings their parents go through on a daily basis in order to raise them. Children will attempt to share some of the obligations, and they will be able to appreciate the effort put forward by their parents as a result. They will recognise the value of giving and caring. Children will learn the value of interdependence and accepting their peers by participating in group activities.
A part-time job also gives them a taste of their future and teaches them how to discipline their lives, and organise them. Further, learn to strike a balance between their personal and professional lives.
On the other hand, children's mental and physical growth would be hampered by a lack of leisure time. It is clear that parents encourage their kids to work part-time, which has obvious results in helping the kids. It makes them understand the value of money and helps them develop into responsible adults. Early on in life, taking up a part-time job not only helps kids learn the value of money but also keeps them from becoming wasteful. For instance, I learned how to save my hard-earned money while attending part-time tuition programmes during my undergraduate years. The children become more responsible as a result of their part-time employment. For instance, odd occupations like becoming a pizza delivery boy show kids how their employer depends on them to run their business. So they take their work seriously and accept full responsibility.
A temporary job does have some disadvantages, yet, as with all things, there are two sides to every story. The children's regular schedule will be disturbed first.
