Model Answer 1

Dear Sir,

I'm writing to ask for your permission to take 10 days off work to finish my term final and thesis for my MBA course. I'm hoping you'll let me take the week off from November 8 to November 17 off of work.
I'm pursuing an MBA at Edinburgh University, and I need to submit my thesis paper by November 15th and pass a couple of examinations in order to graduate. I have 10 paid annual leave days that I've set aside for my final term. I now intend to utilise those leaves to complete my MBA.
I will still check my email every day, reply to any urgent messages, and be reachable for any last-minute phone calls even while I'm on leave. Besides, I've already spoken with James, and he's willing to take on a few of my critical responsibilities in the meantime. To make up for whatever work I missed once I returned to the office, I would try to arrive earlier than usual and work on weekends if necessary.
I'm aware that my brief absence might cause some trouble at work, but my knowledge and the work I'm doing for my thesis will be helpful to our company. My experience could be helpful because our organisation is thinking of offering the staff some training sessions to improve their leadership skills.
I am eagerly awaiting your clearance for leave.
Faithfully,
David Ferrar

Model Answer 2

Dear Sir,

In order to finish my advanced diploma degree in Digital Business and Trade, I'm considering taking a fortnight off from work from June 12 through June 27.
My final tests, which will begin in two weeks, are the only thing left to do before the course is over. Fortunately, I still have a few yearly leaves left over, and I plan to use them up by taking my diploma course's final exams. Having said that, if my firm still believes that I need to make up for those missed days at work, I would be more than happy to work on weekends. And I would also arrive at work early after the tests are finished.
In addition, Ryan is willing to take on a few significant duties from my plate in the interim after I discussed with him earlier. I'll also be available online for urgent work and meetings.
Please be informed that this accreditation is crucial for both me and the business since, in my function as Senior Marketing Manager. It will enable me to better position my business to reach a sizable number of potential clients who wish to purchase our items online.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Kelly

Model Answer 3

Dear Madam,

I'm writing to ask for a potential two-week leave of absence. As you are aware, I am working towards an LSE master's degree in Development Economics. I have to prepare a thesis as part of my degree programme, and its submission is due at the end of this month. I'm requesting this time off so that I can focus solely on my thesis. Unfortunately, I've used up all of my paid holidays, so any time I take off will be unpaid.
I am aware that my absence will cause some inconvenience, but I will be reachable by phone at all times. Jared and Lara have already agreed to handle my task once I asked them to. However, I'll finish my current project before taking a break. When I return, I'll work on Saturdays and sit for longer periods of time to make up for my absence.
My thesis also focuses on the decision-based monitoring that I have been investigating for some time. I have examined the RBM models of three organisations, two of which have pending patents, as part of my research. My research will be useful because our organisation is considering testing the waters in this area.
I'm awaiting your kind approval.
Sincerely,
Noah
