Model Answer 1

Dear Miss Christine,

I am Carrie. As I have signed the agreement as a tenant in your house for the next 2 years. Also, I paid the rest in advance for the next two months. As per the agreement, I decided to shift on August 1st. But now I might not be able to shift on the agreed date. I have to immediately go to Korea for an urgent meeting regarding work. As I work in a multinational company. I have to go on many business trips and tours. I am responsible for attending all the meeting ventures. Also, the job is important for my career so I can't withdraw from the trip.

So, I am going to Korea tomorrow. I will return on August 7th. Then I will take a few days off work. Then I would be able to shift. I didn't know about the trip before or I would have decided to shift after the trip. I apologise for the last minute information.

As I will return after August 7th I might be able to shift till August 10th. I hope you understand my work situation. I will inform you once I return from the business trip.

Please let me know if you have any queries regarding the matter. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely,
Carrie

Dear Mr. Daniel,

I am Pranav. As per the rental agreement signed on January 20th between us, it was decided that I will be moving into your apartment on the 15th February. But due to an unexpected illness, we will have to extend the agreed date. I am sorry to inform you at such short notice. But i hope you understand that health is important.

I think you might be aware that I work in a Textile industry. On February 10th, I met a small injury on one of my legs as well as on my left arm. The doctor has recommended bed rest for at least 2 weeks and to not lift anything heavy. Due to the doctor's recommendation I have taken 3 week off from work as well. I will be taking proper 2 weeks rest and then will start shifting.

I would like to request you to please amend the rental agreement. Extend the date till March 1st. By the time I will recover and pack my things. As I have paid two months rent in advance. The date extension will be seen in that matter as well. I hope you understand my situation. I would be really grateful to you. Looking forward to hearing from you soon

Yours Sincerely,
Pranav

Dear Mr.Binet,

I am Samantha. As we have signed the rental agreement for your apartment. I am writing this letter to inform you that I would not be able to move into your apartment, D-16, at the beginning of July as agreed. I might not be able to shift at the stipulated date. I have to urgently go to my hometown due to the hospitalization of my sister. She fell from the stairs and got an injury on head as well as a fracture on one of her legs. There is no one to take care of her.

I will have to take care of her. It will take at least one month for her recovery and my return. I have taken leave from my work as well. I hope you understand the situation. As I have paid my rent in advance. It will be figured out from the date I shift. I am going tomorrow. I might not be able to contact you due to travelling. So, I am informing you through this letter.

As I would be able to return by August 1st. I will surely shift by August 5th. I would like to request you to amend the date on the rental agreement.

I apologise for last minute information.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours Sincerely,
Samantha
