Letter To Your Friend Inviting Them To Go On A Short Picnic With You IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter-writing topic. Dear Adam,

I hope you are doing well. It’s been a long time since we met each other. I have been planning for a weekend trip along with Karan, Mohan, and Shalini for a small picnic in Kasol. I think it would be a great opportunity for all four of us to meet. I was planning to do this picnic this Sunday which is the second of October as well. It would be great if we all could visit Kasol as it would be an escape from the scorching heat here. Let me tell you about Kasol, it is two hours drive from Delhi and has a Sainik landscape view all the way. There are wonderful mountains and trees. It is a very picturesque picnic spot for us. I am very excited, I have booked rooms in the hotels for our stay. Since I am an adventure freak, I want all four of us to go mountain track. This pain plan would be successful if you can join us. Please plan your clothes according to our plan. Let’s catch up this weekend and have lots of fun.

Dear Amrit,

I hope you’re doing great by the grace of God. It’s been a while since we last met. Hence I have planned a picnic with you, Natasha, Tanya, and Gaurav this coming weekend. This weekend would be the 23rd of July. I hope you are excited about this plan. This letter is to discuss all the plans and preparations that we are making for the short picnic. The location that we were thinking of was Botanical Garden, Kolkata. This is a very beautiful place in Kolkata, and also the very perfect venue for our picnic. This place is an hour away from my house. So accordingly we can take a bus or taxi according to our needs. In addition, the garden is extremely beautiful and has a separate sports zone which is available for everyone. I have already enquired with the officer there, about the timing that was available on their website. I have reserved a picnic spot for all four of us. Food has been ordered as an interesting ticket or booked by Gaurav. Natasha has planned to take all the pieces of equipment required for our activities in that garden. We will get assistance from the operational manager in the garden. As an assistant they would help us with an umbrella, disposable utensils are any sort of soft drink. It would be a great relief if you can assure us of the plan and then only we can move forward with other preparations. I hope you accept this plan for our short picnic.

How are you? As we planned in our last letter about a picnic. I have been planning to go trekking for a short picnic in the Uganda hills this weekend. We have a plan to hike up the hills and reach the peak by noon. To enjoy the view of our picnic, the hike would take around 1 to 2 hours. I think it is the best time for us to have a picnic there. We can also start early if we can finish before noon. Apart from us, Tom, Jack, Jacob and Raja, and Ryan would join us for this short picnic. I have asked Ryan to pick up all of us in the morning. I have also planned to take food like sandwiches, soft drinks, fruits, chips, and more along with us. Jacob has taken responsibility for hotel bookings.
