Model Answer 1:
Dear Sir/Mam,
My name is Rishikesh, and I am a resident of your city, Ambala. The intent of writing this letter is to communicate my concerns and about the decision against demolition of an historic building. The concerned historic building, “The Rose Temple,” celebrated its centenary a few weeks ago.
This building for decades has been worshiped and cherished by the local residents as a symbol of historic presence in our city. However, the decision over demolition of the building due to lack of sufficient funds for renovation has disappointed me to a great extent. The existence of the building can be dated back since the pre-independence era and marks a true existence and exposure of culture.
As far as the concern about the funds, I can understand the issue will be taxing for you and other concerned authorities. However, there is a suggestion you might consider, collection of funds from the public and getting it renovated. I can assure you that the local residents will happily contribute towards preserving the building.
I hope this suggestion will be of use to you.
Your Sincerely,
Rishikesh

Model Answer 2:
Dear Sir/Mam,
I never had a reason to write a letter to you despite being a citizen of this town for the past 20 years. Today, the reason for writing to you is to express my concern regarding the decision of demolishing the “art museum” due to lack of sufficient funds.
The reason for this letter is that it is the only existing heritage left in our town. It has a deep root existence in people’s hearts. Each year, schools in this residential area plan an excursion to the museum. These are some of the major reasons for preserving this heritage building.
The fact that the state is running out of budget, you might consider collecting funds from the locals here. The funds collected will help cover daily maintenance costs. People here will be more than happy to help and donate money for reestablishment of the old heritage.
I hope you consider my suggestion and revert back with a positive approach.
Yours faithfully,
Abhigyan
Model Answer 3:
Dear Sir/Mam,
I am writing this letter to express my thoughts and concerns over the proposed plan towards demolishing the famous building existing in our area. “The Herald,” has completed its centenary and I’m very upset about the news of its demolition. I’m Adam, a resident of your city.
The building has existed as one of the oldest and has been a cherished heritage of our town for several years now. It has been cherished and admired by several generations now and the news of its demolition breaks our heart. “The Herald” is known for its sculptured interior and exterior that has been developed during the pre-independence era. It portrays the talents of hand cravings on a wall that showcase the local culture of places. It is regarded as a popular destination for the tourists that visit our town.
I understand that sculpture and walls have worn out with time and need refurbishment. Thus, we the citizens of this town are ready to contribute whatever amount we can to save this master-piece for our future generations and to attract more tourists from all over the world.
I hope you understand my concern and agree with my suggestion.
Yours Faithfully,
Adam
