Band 7 IELTS Letter
Dear Sir/Madam,
I happened to watch the Dark Desire series with my small son on your channel yesterday. I am curious how such an offensive program can be televised. This prompted me to write you this letter to express my worries about the program. The aforementioned series includes some explicit and adulterous affairs of a young lady.
I had to change channels several times while watching it. This show contains a lot of nudity, rude language, and sexually explicit content. It is more of a sex and foul-language show than a comedy show. Youngsters are particularly susceptible to emulating acts they watch on television. This is because they do not always comprehend the difference between reality and what they see on television. Kids do not fully get the significance of some television situations. I am also curious how the Censorship Board allows such programs to air during prime time. It is somehow affecting the mindset of my son. Also, I think, the kids of younger generations are also getting affected by seeing it.
Basically, I am asking you to stop the program altogether or delete the offending content from it. I look forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible. In addition, I hope you will make the required efforts in this regard.
Yours faithfully,
Kaustav Chatterjee

Dear Sir/Madam,
I managed to watch the Sacred Games series on your channel with my family yesterday. I am curious how such an offensive program can be broadcast on television. This motivated me to write you this letter, in which I expressed my concerns regarding the initiative. The series mentioned above depicts a serial killer's graphic, sexual, and cruel character.
Sacred Games is always on the lookout for little occasions. It contains occasions in which well-meaning people fail themselves, demonstrating the complexities of human life. It also portrays the perilous assumptions of categorizing others. The series' ferocity, its most powerful moments, are reserved for scenes delving into the origins and connotations of religious extremism in the country. It is actually a subject that has only heated up in recent years. Young children are especially sensitive to imitating activities they see on television. I am also curious about how the Censorship Board allows such shows to air during prime time. My family members' mental health is suffering as a result.
Basically, I'm asking you to halt the program or remove the problematic content from it. I eagerly await your response as soon as possible. Furthermore, I hope you will make the necessary efforts in this regard.
Yours faithfully,
Pritha Chakraborty
Band 6 IELTS Letter
Dear Sir/Madam,
Yesterday, I watched the 13 Reasons Why web series on your channel with my daughter. Im intrigued as to how such an obnoxious program could be carried on television. This prompted me to write you this letter, in which I stated my reservations about the initiative. The aforementioned series is about Hannah Baker's horrific suicide attempt. She records the mystery of her suicide inside a tape.
The first season of the show is based on Jay Asher's YA novel. It explored the lives of several students at Liberty High, many of whom were affected by the death of one of their classmates, Hannah Baker. 13 Reasons Why, told in voiceover from Hannah's perspective, was praised for daring to examine adolescent mental health. Although, side by side, it also harshly attacked for how it handled juvenile suicide. The children are especially receptive to emulating television-shown activities. I am also interested in how the Censorship Board allows such shows to air during prime time. As a result, my daughter's mental health is deteriorating.
Therefore, I am requesting that you suspend the application or remove the objectionable stuff that carries a person toward suicide. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. I also hope that you would make the required efforts in this regard.
Yours faithfully,
Indranil Ghos
