Letter to the Store Manager Describing issue in a Jacket that You Recently Bought IELTS Writing Task 1 is a letter writing topic. Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a regular customer of your store in New Way Street. I'm writing to let you know about a defective jacket I recently purchased from your shop. I am very disappointed by the faulty jacket I received. I was misbehaved with by your employees, when I asked them to return it. I selected a black coloured jacket. It has two holes in the right side arm.

I was not aware of those holes when I tried the jacket in the trying room of your store. The moment I noticed the flaws, I drove to your store and spoke with a member of staff there. He refused to hear me, though, and he was really harsh in his reply. Since your business depends on clients, I believe such a mindset can be detrimental to it. I would like you to replace this damaged jacket with another that is fault-free. Because I won't wear it or keep it for myself. I need the whole purchase price of the item returned in the event of failure. If the refund is not possible, I would appreciate an exchange for the product. I have a meeting to attend and I need to wear a jacket. So, it would be compensatory if I get an exchange.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We wish you well. I'm contacting you today to convey my sorrow over a prior purchase from your store. When I got home, I saw the jacket I had purchased was seriously ruined. Wearing it was not possible.

I wasn't completely in control of the jacket when I was at the store. However, when I attempted to wear it at home, the zipper was broken, thus I was unable to do so. It was damaged. On the jacket's arms, there were a few white blemishes as well.

I visited your store on Tuesday after learning about these issues. I have spoken with the employee of your store. She informed me that we are unable to exchange any items due to discounts. However, I was unable to exchange my defective item.

I ask that you replace my torn jacket with a new one because I am a paying customer. I enjoy shopping at your store, and I do so pretty frequently. With its current state, no one could wear this jacket. If you were to alter my goods, I would be incredibly happy. I might appreciate an exchange of jackets or a refund if possible.

The jacket was purchased for a family event the following week. I was attempting to gauge how I would appear that day while donning my new attire. But when I put the jacket on, I discovered that the back was improperly sewed. It appears strange from there.

I returned to the shop where I bought it to have a new one installed. However, the clerk informed me that the store lacked any replacement policy. I asked for a restoration to the unstitched section because I fully understood that. However, they emphasized that the ensuing request cannot be fulfilled. Also, I would like you to instruct them about the rude behavior they show to customers. I felt disappointed by the misbehavior I faced from their side.

I would prefer it if you were to look into the situation as soon as possible and assist me in obtaining a replacement, repair, or potential discount. Certainly feel free to get in touch with me if you require more details.
