Band 8 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

I recently organized an all day meeting for the company in your hotel. After the meeting was organized, we took feedback from the participants. I am writing this letter to inform you about the feedback received so that you can improve and work on the feedback.

The members who participated liked the hotel very much. The decor, rooms and the hall were elegant. However, they did not like the food that was served for lunch. The participants said in their feedback that the staff were very elegant and organized. They were also very helpful. The only complaint they had was about the food.

They informed me that the food was oily and half cooked. They were served cold on the plates. They also informed me that there were bones in vegetarian dishes which is not acceptable at all. After lunch time, they started complaining about the food to my manager. Some of the foods tasted raw and stale. Noone was happy with the quality of the food. The ice cream served for dessert has already melted. The biryani was not tasty at all and had no spices. The chicken was given in very few portions and also did not taste good. I am writing this letter after taking from all the participants and everyone complaining about the food. Hence, I truly believe that there is some serious issue in the kitchen.

I am sure you also came across other similar complaints. I would suggest you look into this so that the food is freshly cooked and served hot. Also, our company will be hosting meetings in your hotel in recent times. I would expect a better quality of food and also improvement in the issues mentioned above.

Regards,
Bhaskar

Band 7.5 IELTS Letter

Respected Sir/ Madam,

This letter is in response to my and my coworkers' recent stay at your hotel. I would like to be honest with you. During our stay we had some positive aspects, but unfortunately most of the time we were unlucky to encounter significant negative aspects.

On one hand, everyone appreciated the wonderful spa complex and the room amenities. To be more specific, it was a pleasure to sleep there because the beds were made of high-quality materials and the rooms were spotless. In addition, we enjoyed our time in the sauna and pool, which helped us unwind and unwind. The housekeeping staff were excellent with the arrangement and the help.

On the other hand, the food menu had some issues. First of all, since we paid for the all-inclusive service several days before our arrival, we anticipated a variety of dishes. However, we were only permitted to eat chicken and rice dishes throughout our stay. Because some of us were allergic to chichen products, we had to eat at restaurants outside the hotel, which was a significant inconvenience. On asking about the full menu, the manager at the restaurant said that they only have chicken items. I had already mentioned while booking to keep veg as well as non veg items. There were few people in our group who were vegetarians. We had to buy vegetarian food for them from outside. Although we paid for the entire buffet menu, we only got chicken items.

In order to avoid similar situations in the future, I suppose you should consider expanding the menu. Also, it would be wonderful if you thought about making a special menu for people who have food allergies.

Thank you for hosting us and hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Amit Trivedi

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

I am David and I manage the HorsePower consulting farm. Recently we had a meeting in your hotel for almost 100 people. I'm writing to let you know what I heard from the people who attended the event. This feedback was taken after the event so that we can host future events at your hotel.

To begin, I appreciated the variety of assistance and direction you provided. Your receptionists were pleasant and considerate, demonstrating their professional skill in preparing for and meeting our every need. Your projecting screen, computer, and chairs all appeared to be brand new, which made working there a pleasant experience for everyone.

They were dissatisfied with the taste and quality of the food, despite their appreciation for the hotel's amenities. The majority of the dishes were served too oily and lukewarm, they complained. Most people said that the food was not cooked properly and chickens remained raw from inside. Many could not eat the food and I was so embarrassed at this feedback. Anyone who comes to such a hotel will expect the quality of food to be top notch. In this case, we were disappointed.

I'd like to offer some suggestions for enhancing the quality of the food. If the counters had been prepared just as the majority of people were about to take their lunch break, it might have been better. This would allow more time to cook and the food will also be warm. Please ask your head chef to use less oil and spice and many people cannot handle spicy food.

I hope you'll take these tips into consideration and improve significantly in the future.

Regards,
David
