Band 6.5 letter
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I'm writing to let you know that I left my laptop at your hotel last week when I was staying there as a guest.
I'll explain why I hurried out of the hotel without remembering to get my laptop in order to make things more clear. Be reminded of an incident on Tuesday last week when one of waiters at the brunch stand tripped on a guests’ luggage spilling the content on her tray on another guest. I just so happen to be the guest who is covered in fruit juice and coffee. After the accident, I quickly removed my laptop to avoid fluid touching the surface and did not remember to pick it up because I was in a hurry to catch up a scheduled flight.
It is an Lenovo laptop, display size 14.00-inch., with a few scratches, for the sake of description. It features a striking blue color cover.
I respectfully want your assistance in helping me locate the laptop because it was a gift from a close friend and holds really precious memories. Upon your approval, I can make my address available for mailing; however, I will bear the expense.
Looking forward to your response.
Thank You.
Yours Sincerely,
John Wickham

Dear Sir/Madam,
Last week, I stayed at your hotel to attend a business course that was held at a close-by conference centre. On the third floor, I remained in room 351 from August 8 to August 11. I realised I had forgotten to bring my laptop home when I got there. I'm hoping you'll look for it and send it to my home address after that.
Regarding the laptop's specifications, it is a silver-colored Macbook and it has a stainless steel sapphire surface. It is MacBook Pro 14-inch. Even though it is two years old, it appears virtually brand new. The day I checked out of the hotel, I last saw the laptop there, where I had placed it on the bedside table before taking a shower.
Although the laptop isn't worth much, it holds special meaning for me. I would never want to lose it because it was a gift from a particular someone. I wanted to know if you had received the laptop. If not, will you kindly check the hotel's lost and found area or have a staff member check the cupboard and bathroom in the room I slept in for it? Please give me a call as soon as you receive the laptop. I'll be willing to pay the courier fee.
Thank You.
Yours Sincerely,
William Darcy

Dear Sir/Madam
I spent three days last week at the Sunset Hotel. I had a good time there and intend to return as soon as possible. But I have a problem, and I need your assistance. I'm very certain that I left my laptop in the bathroom of my room. Before leaving the motel, I had had a shower. I hid the laptop in the bathroom closet at that time. I want you to look there, or perhaps you can ask the housekeeper. She could have discovered it and stored it elsewhere.
The fact that my father gifted it to me before he died away makes this inexpensive laptop extremely precious to me. Silver and deep blue make up its colour scheme. The glass is cracked and there is some Latin lettering on both sides. It also appears dated. If necessary, I could email you a photo so you could quickly identify it. If you find the laptop, please let me know.
Please, I need you to look for it and see if you can find it. You might also need to check with your personnel to see if anyone observed it. If discovered, please get in touch with me via phone at 08092253567 or by email at bennetjane@gmail.com.
Your Sincerely,
Jane Bennet
