Model Answer 1

Dear Sir/ Madam
I am Rashi, a resident of the housing society in the Southern PC lane under your municipality. I am writing this letter to inform you of the problems faced by our housing society. This is due to the irresponsible behavior of some adolescents by letting their dogs run wildly and causing a dangerous situation.
Our housing society has always been quiet and peaceful and we were never afraid of going out for a walk or ride even at night. But now the situation has changed after the relocations of some new families in the area. Our area has always been animal-friendly. So we were not bothered when we saw the pets of our new neighbors. We were happy to make new acquaintances with others and live in utmost peace and harmony. But nowadays, we are getting bothered and anxious due to the pet dogs the new neighbors bought. The adolescent children of the new children are so mischievous and they started to let their dogs out and provoke others. Due to this reason, for many of us, the peaceful neighborhood has become a source of anxiety and fright. The irresponsible attitude of the adolescents has led to many getting frightened and four of our people getting injured, of which one is a ten-year-old child. The dogs wander about the area without a leash and fight amongst themselves and with the people walking by causing a ruckus. Now, the children and others are even afraid to go to the nearby park or take a walk. We have even tried discussing this with the parents of the teenagers but the response we got was not positive. They blamed us for framing their children on unreasonable grounds. So, we have even complained about the current situation we are facing to the local authorities. I hope the honorable sir can resolve our problems and advise the adolescents and make them aware of the dangerous situation they are creating.
I hope you can understand our situation and I request you to take action sooner regarding this issue.
Yours faithfully
Rashi Ranjan

Dear Sir/ Madam
I am writing this letter to convey my worries regarding the current situation in our locality. There have been a lot of problems created due to dogs wandering loose in the area and causing a dangerous situation for the people around. The recent news we got was that the dogs causing this ruckus were not stray dogs but their owners are ignorant adolescents in the same area. There is no responsible change in the teenagers even after informing them of the situation faced by the majority.
I have been living in this area for only five years due to my work. The number of years spent here may be small but the acquaintances made are very large. The people around are very friendly, understanding, and kind. This is not a minor issue since this has started affecting the daily life of the residents. Earlier, in our residential area, we used to keep morning activities, and yoga sessions. Also, we used to spend weekends taking walks around the area and visiting the residential park. The old and young, regardless of their age, use to wander about freely and enjoy their available time. But, nowadays, people are even afraid to go to the park or even take a walk. The dogs outside are very dangerous and unpredictable. They had bitten two of our residents who were coming home from work. Due to this dangerous situation, the elders have restricted children to stay only at their houses and not go out alone. All the elders and families are worried and the kids are frightened by the dogs surrounding the area. The residential members had informed the adolescents responsible as well as their families. They have conveyed to them the need to take measures to change this predicament. But, even after a week, no measures have been taken.
That is why I am informing the honorable sir to take note of our predicament and analyze it. I also request you to take immediate measures to resolve this issue and take action against the ones responsible for this dangerous situation.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely
Ajay Sagar

Dear Sir/ Madam
Through this letter, I wish to convey the recent issues happening in our area. This is regarding the dangerous situation caused by adolescents letting their dogs loose outside without a leash or a muzzle.
I am Veena R.K., the vice-president of the residential association of the RKS residential area. I want to inform you of this issue due to two reasons. Firstly, about the major issue, the dangers caused by the wandering dogs in our area. Some of our residents do keep dogs but they have always kept them under control. It was from last month that we found wandering dogs in our area and they didn’t appear like stray dogs. At first, we weren't bothered and our area is animal-friendly. But this later turned dangerous when the dogs started chasing people and kids and tried biting them. Now, everyone is afraid to walk around or get out of the house. We are all worried about our families and especially our kids. The children are frightened to go to school and this became a cause of serious anxiety for many. The second reason is that these wandering dogs are owned by adolescents from a nearby area. We know that kids can be ignorant and unaware but it is our duty to show them the right path. Today’s children are tomorrow’s citizens. Even after knowing the current situation, the students have not taken any action to control their dogs and appear unbothered. This irresponsible attitude of kids if left uncared of may cause great harm in the future. They are to be told, taught, and understood of the dangers of their decisions and causes and predicament created by their current actions. Since no one is injured currently, we don’t wish to move legally yet. We have also tried informing regarding this issue to all relevant local authorities and even the families of the adolescents. But until now, no measures have been taken. We also won’t stay calm if someone gets injured due to these wandering dogs in the future. If the necessary measures are not taken, our residential association is planning to organize a protest to get help in the current situation.
I hope you can understand our problems and help us. I also request you to inform the local authorities to help us and take necessary measures to solve this issue.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully
Veena
