Band 6.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

I'm writing to draw your awareness to the increasing waste problem in my neighborhood.

Martin here; I've lived at New style rod, New York for the past eight years. I've never before had an issue to bring up with you.

However, due to rumors of a strike, municipal workers have not been picking up trash from our modern society for the past two weeks. As a result, the situation is so bad that trash is overflowing in newly installed dustbins that are conveniently located next to my house. Moreover, we are unable to open our windows due to the foul stench of the waste. This is mostly why I'm writing to you right now.

There has been an unwanted smell due to the garbage. Also, it puts a wrong and embarrassing impression in front of guests. Also, overflowing garbage is getting scattered on roads and the stray dogs make it more scattered.

There are many actions you can take, in my opinion, to solve this issue soon. If a similar problem develops in the near future. You can start by sending out a bulletin to the entire living society instructing them to throw their trash bags in the major landfills. Rather than the dustbins that have been installed here. Second, you should set up some sessions that can teach folks how to produce less garbage.

I'm looking forward to speaking with you shortly about this.

Yours Faithfully

Martin

Band 7.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

I'm writing to you to appellate your attention towards the rubbish issue in our community. I am Selin, a resident of Howard colony, Mumbai.

The trash cans that your office put on the corners of the streets are not used by many of the locals. They openly dispose of their rubbish on the streets instead. In addition, despite numerous complaints, your crew does not actually arrive to collect it.

Due to the unwanted garbage on the street there has been an unwanted smell all over. Also, it is a threat for stray animals like dogs, cows etc. Because they might consume harmful toxins searching for food in the garbage. Also, it leads to scattering of garbage all over the streets.

Due to the current trend of individuals staying unhealthy, this is a big worry. Malaria and typhoid are only two of the illnesses that have started to affect residents of our area, including youngsters. The garbage has caused a significant increase in flies and mosquitoes. The problem would get worse if they were not contained right away. People in our neighborhood struggle to pay for pricey medications, so I'm really concerned.

Asking locals to put their trash in the dustbins or face penalties is the best corrective action. Additionally, send your support early in the day so they can collect it on schedule.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you again.

Yours Faithfully

Band 8.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to direct your immediate attention to this matter. I am Nathan, a resident of Clouds Street, California. Due to several issues it has created for both residents and, especially, the environment. I am sending this letter to alert you about how the state rids of garbage in my home area.

In accordance with the waste-collection company's announcement, residents are required to store their trash in large trash cans. That has been planned for each residence and moves the containers to the sidewalk of the streets on Saturdays and Wednesdays between 9 and 10 PM. I would like to discuss a variety of intractable difficulties with waste collection, nevertheless. First of all, the garbage trucks do not frequently appear. And they typically only pick up the trash on Saturdays or Wednesdays, not both. Due to this problem, home garbage has accumulated to the point where it no longer fits in the bins. Forcing people to put some of their garbage outside of the baskets in plastic bags. I wholeheartedly agree that your department has to take quick action to deal with this issue. To avoid the buildup of excessive litter where humans and animals live, trash collection businesses must be penalized. And cautioned me to collect the trash according to the established days and times. I am anticipating your swift action.

Yours Faithfully

Nathan
