You Went on a Sightseeing Trip with a Tour Company But Did Not Like it. Write a Letter to the Company Manager to Complain IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter-writing topic. Candidates are required to address the Company Manager on this topic in a formal tone. It contains three model answers that have three paragraphs namely the introduction, body, and conclusion. Dear Sir or Madam,
I’m writing this letter to bring in notice that I am not at all happy with the service of your company. Two days ago I went on a trip to north Bengal.
I have always been fascinated by mountains and more. My idea was to visit them, watch the snowfall, and trek. I accept the fact that your company had provided us with good food and good accommodation but unfortunately that war was not up to my expectations. But the guide who accompanied us wasn’t very cheerful. I don’t believe that he was familiar with the prices that he took us. Also, I believe he had not guided us in the correct way and showed us the important things. Given that our guide was not good at Bengali and had a tough time communicating with the local people. I am sure that your company is very well known. But you can’t ignore feedback that customers like us provide. I least expect that the feedback I provide must be constructive hence you can improve the quality of your service.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the tour service that you provide. I had a tour with your service company last week. That was from Jordan to explore Petra.
I traveled to Jordan in order to learn about the magnificent stone city of Petra. And the local tribe residing there. I went to Petra for sightseeing with my friends and family to show them the literally carved directly into pink, red, white, and different sandstone and cliffs. Although the guide was generous and polite, he was not aware of the historical background of Petra. Besides, he had no idea what was the best route to get to Petra. Also, the guy did not provide us with much information and didn’t take us to more captivating sites. The duration of our tour was simply not enough. It should have taken more time to explore such a historical city as Petra. I would like to suggest you train your guide better. He should have adequate information about an ancient city. He must go through the history, top size, and time to visit before he takes tourists to any sport. I hope you are generous enough to consider my points.

I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the tour experience I had with your company. I had a seven days tour to north India planned with your company.
I have always been fascinated by ancient civilizations. I had a plan in my mind to visit various historical monuments in cities like Delhi, Agra , Jaipur and more. I also wanted to visit rural India and see their lifestyle. But your tour guide did not come up to my expectations. I agree that your tour guide was very polite and helpful but he had short knowledge about the various destinations he was taking us through. Seems very unfamiliar with the historical moment monument. He was not able to provide us with correct information and enough information about those historical monuments. Along with this, he had a very weird weak knowledge of Hindi hence he had buddy tough communicating with local people. I hope a big company like you would expect customer feedback to be constructive hence I would be grateful if you improve the quality of your services.
