Model Answer 1

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to convey my gratitude for the chance you have offered me to learn an English Course at your institute. But, I am sorry to say to you that my grandmother has been hospitalized and I will be heading to my village tomorrow. Knowing this, I will beg you to postpone my enrollment for two weeks.
I have to hurry to my village as my mum has cracked her ribs in an incident and is being examined in a hospital presently. My father went away a couple of years back, and I should be by my mother's side for several days. I will, though, go back to Delhi as fast as she heals, which I suppose will indeed take two weeks.
I will want you to show understanding of my situation and please extend my start date to two weeks. I am really eager to join and learn at your institute and will expect to help under your guidance.
Waiting to hear from you quickly.
Yours faithfully,
Geeta

Model Answer 2

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to advise you of my incapacity to join the English language course which is ready to begin next week. I was eagerly anticipating my classes but owing to some unforeseen health problem, am incapable or unwilling. I am genuinely sorry for the trouble this has given you.
Let me clarify my issue. I was strolling down from work at that time last week and since it was pouring, the sight was really terrible. Just as I turned onto my residential lane, I walked into a pot-hole and failed to stop. Sadly, I landed over on my right wrist and fractured it. As it is a slight fracture, I have been instructed to take it carefully for the next 4 weeks and not raise it at all. Hence, attending next week's session is near to impossible.
I would be contacting my doctor by the end of three weeks and want to enroll post I get a fair hearing. Since it would allow me ample time to rest my hand, I would like to start in mid-next-month. Kindly let us know if you can still suspend my enrollment until then.
Appreciate the opportunity.
Yours faithfully,
Ashita

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to advise you that I would not be eligible to participate in English sessions which are planned for next Friday.
As giving Corona a negative report is needed on the first day of class, I had the test done two days ago. Unfortunately, my report returned positive and I am sick from the unique corona virus. It might be exceedingly harmful to my group mates if I am present in the room.
To be exact, I am feeling a slight temperature and significant physical soreness. Also, I am not capable of walking freely due to pain in my knees. This condition is not only squandering countless times of my life but also providing me with great physical discomfort.
Doctors have given me meds and I am taking them on time. I am positive that I will totally heal within 14 days from today. Therefore, you may anticipate me to start classes by the 1st of June.
Thank you for your understanding/help.
I look forward to starting the classes shortly.
Yours sincerely,
Rupa
