Letter to Teacher Thanking Him/Her for The Short-term Course IELTS General Writing Task 1

Besides being an introvert, I was also weak in English, thus I did not have much confidence in communicating with others in English. Many had given me suggestions of reading English newspapers, and English books, but nothing had helped me except for your classes. The technique you use to teach students of the whole class has further renewed my speaking skills. It is also the way you used it that is excellent for building confidence among students. Your attempt to let me speak in front of you is very heart-touching. There were teachers who used to laugh and make fun of me for the wrong English or my inability to speak fluently. But there were only a few teachers, you are among those few teachers, who had to lend me their helping hand in improving my English. It is for you that I have decided to take up English confidence in my higher studies. And the most vital reason for which I am dedicating this honour to you is that, because of you, I am here abroad. I have gained my confidence to take up my higher studies abroad, only because of you. Your contribution to my life is ineffable. Therefore, I want to thank you from the core of my heart.

Thank you for refilling my confidence in me. I was never a good student of English. But you have shown me the way. I am full of confidence now. I had applied for some exams for taking up my higher studies abroad. And I have successfully cleared them all. As you know, the exams for higher studies abroad are mainly based on English. Previously, I had no confidence regarding clearing these exams, but now I can say with my heart high, that I have cleared them all, only because of you. Now I can take up English as a side subject in my higher studies. I have decided to keep English as one of my main subjects. There have been very few teachers whose teaching has really touched my heart, you are one among those teachers. In my school life, there was an English teacher, who kept on humiliating me for my poor English. My depth in that subject was not good, therefore I could not talk fluently or score high on this paper. But it was only after getting enrolled in your English course, that all my concepts got cleared. Further, the way of taking revision classes after every chapter has perfectly made us ready. Your cooperation has further helped us to clarify the doubts immediately while going through the chapter.
