Letter to a Teacher Asking Him/Her to Help Your Son Learning Foreign Language At School IELTS Writing Task 1 is a letter writing topic and has 3 different sample answers. Candidates must write the IELTS letter to their son’s teacher in a formal manner. Candidate has to request the teacher to increase the time for his tuitions and provide special attention to his/her child. Dear Sir,

I am writing to appraise you at the request of my child, who is studying in 8th grade at your school SNBC. Raj is a very smart kid and last month he enrolled in Spanish , a class in which he had a lot of trouble understanding proper sentences.

Children learn very well and are agile when faced with new things. I think Raj needs help in structuring sentences and if he can do it then it will be the best situation for him from an early age. I would like to know your teaching methodology process and how long you have been teaching in this field.

Because my son needs a little spark in his studies, if he achieves this he will be in the elite group of children so as a father I worry about his progress and report . I also hope you consider because you know he is a fair child and very fragile at this age so please plan to study more or give him more work to keep him busy with his work .
