Band 8 IELTS Letter

Dear Councilman Smith,

I am emailing you to ask if you could resolve the issue at the park across the street from where I live . I live at Ford Street and the park is Green Park. The problem is that every day a young man brings his two large Dobermans to the park and lets them run free without a leash. This obviously poses a potential danger to other people using the park. Although I have never seen dogs cause 4,444 injuries, they often frighten local children and cause worry to parents. I called the police, but they did nothing, even though there was a sign stating dogs must be leashed. Man appears to be in his late 20s, of average height and good build. He usually wears a black leather jacket and blue jeans. His dog is about 1 meter tall, black and brown, and well groomed.

Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter.

Sincerely,
Jon Jones.

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir

I'm Ankitha, a software developer. This letter serves to communicate the significant inconvenience experienced by a majority of my community's residents. A community resident frequently accompanies his dog to the park adjacent to our apartment; there, he liberates his pet without restraint. Additionally, the main park is located next to the Central Library in Anna Nagar. It includes a running arena, jogging track, sports activities and meditation area. Both children and adults visit this park regularly in the mornings and evenings.

Additionally, the boisterous barking of dogs poses a significant challenge for children: they often find it intimidating to encounter these creatures. Teens can't run or jog while their pet chases them. Owners and animals visit the park daily at 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Let's briefly describe the man's appearance and pet for easy identification. He is 5'10 tall, middle-aged, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He has three dogs of the German Shepherd breed, all of which are brown. We earnestly urge you to promptly rectify this situation; our residents long for an idyllic time of tranquility and serenity in the parks we provide.

Thank you

Band 6 IELTS Letter

Dear Councillor Smith,

Amidst my residence, a park across the street presents an issue. Can you manage this problem? Every day, a young man perpetuates the problem by releasing two large Dobermans off their leashes in the park; indeed, this poses an imminent danger to our community. Obviously, this poses a potential danger to other park users who may not have seen the dogs in action.

Frequently, these injuries not only frighten children but also concern their parents. I've notified the police; however,Despite clear signs requiring dogs to be kept on leads, they have not taken any action. The man, seemingly in his late twenties, boasts an average height and a robust physique. His favored attire typically comprises a black leather jacket; he pairs this with blue - often denim – indicating. The man owns a pair of jeans; his dogs, well-groomed and standing at approximately one meter in height, display colors that oscillate between black and brown. With precision--I trust you can manage this: the task of caring for them is bestowed upon you.

Yours sincerely,
John Jones.
