Hi Adam,

I hope this letter finds you at the peak of your good health. I received your letter a week back. I am glad to know that you are doing good. We are doing good as well.

I am writing this letter to invite you to an event happening in our city. I would like you to come over and stay at my house and enjoy the festival. It has been three years since you visited the country. We have also not met and I find this an opportunity.

Our city is finally celebrating the "Timpupu festival". It is a five-day event where fruits and vegetables are gathered all over the province and they will be on display on the streets. The vendors bring vegetables and fruits that they grow for display. You can also taste fruits for free. Not only fruits and vegetables, but handmade products are also display. Products like handmade costumes, artifacts are also displayed and sold. Students in different schools parading on the streets while showing off the these costumes depending on the theme. The local government prepares numerous activities that will fascinate the locals as well as visitors.

I would like to invite you to enjoy the local cuisine and culture. It will be an honour to host a friend like you who stays abroad.

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Samantha,

I hope you and your family are doing well. I wanted to invite you to the Sunburn event organized in Goa during the new year. This happens during 27th December to 2nd January, 2023. You can take a direct flight from Australia 2 days before the program.

Sunburn is a music party with unique themes such as a full moon party for the whole night. This is a party event and DJ's from all around the world come for the event. They play music so that everyone can dance. EDM or Electronic Dance Music is also a part of the event. Though I have my own house in GOA, we will book a tent on the site of the program. They play music all night at different stages and sites. People from all over the world come to enjoy the event. It is one of the biggest celebrations where everyone welcomes the New year.

I have already bought passes for you. Two of my friends will also join us. You have seen them on your last visit to India. After the program, we can enjoy Goa and the sites along the beaches. There are other attractions which I am eager to show you in GOA. There is a flea market hosted every Wednesday at Anjuna Beach. This flea market is a paradise place for real shopaholics. You will find hundreds of stores selling jewelries, clothes, handicrafts, hammocks, bed sheets, trinkets, and wall hangings.

Dear Charles,

Hope you are doing fine. It has been 3 years since you last visited my home in India. I am writing this letter to invite you to visit my home in Kolkata.

There are multiple fares that are happening during the month of December and January. I would like to invite you during Christmas Eve and stay till 5th of January. I have planned many activities that we can do together. Firstly, we can visit churches during Christmas Eve. There is a very famous place called Park Street where people go for parties. It is a crazy place with pubs and bars all around. I have planned to explore Kolkata nightlife with you. After Christmas eve, we have New year. This place offers some of the best New year celebrations. Allen park is decorated with lights which is open to the public for the whole night. Thousands of people gathered here on the day of New year. Firecrackers are lit and everyone enjoys the view. Once the new year celebrations are over, I am planning to show you around the city. Places like Victoria memorial, museums and others can be visited. I have also planned a boat trip on the Ganges at night. We can also visit nearby beaches and stay in a cottage for 2 days. 3 of my friends have also agreed to join. So it will be a tour to remember.

I hope you will be able to come before 25th. Please let me know when you are arriving. I will make the arrangements accordingly.
