Hello Suresh Sir,

I hope this letter finds you at the peak of your health. I got your letter where you have mentioned that you want to visit my native for a few days. I will be glad to host you. Since you have asked for some information, I will mention the details of accommodation, places to visit and adventure activities.

I would suggest you stay in a hotel near or by the Ganges. It will offer a stunning, spectacular view every morning. Also, the cool breeze during the evenings will refresh your mind and soul. There are many hotels as per the budget you want. I will suggest a few good hotels whose services are the best in class. I would suggest taking a room with a balcony towards the river. You can enjoy the sunset and the sunrise. Since these hotels are located at the center of the city, it is very accessible to go anywhere and visit the places. There are places like Victoria Memorial, Museum, Palaces which you can visit. You can also visit water parks like Nicco Park, Aquatica. These parks will let you enjoy the whole day with friends and family. At night, you can visit a good restaurant for dinner. The Kolkata style biryani is very famous. Few places are Arsalan, Shiraz, and Indian restaurants. Please remember to bring swimwear for the water parks. There are many rides where people are not allowed without the swimwear.

The best thing to try is the street foods of Kolkata, Puchkas or Golgappas should be at the top of your list. You can also have rolls and mughlai.

I hope you are in excellent health and spirits as you read this letter. I am delighted to write this letter and welcome you and your family to our lovely village. When I learned that you planned a trip to India, I was overjoyed. I am eagerly waiting for the day when you will visit my place.

I am happy to inform you that you can stay close to the stunning landscape, which will enlighten your mind and soul. The less expensive lodging will be in a wooden cottage next to a lake. It's a good spot for enjoying serenity. The place is calm and silent. In addition, you can fully appreciate the scenic view of India.

There are many magnificent gardens nearby. It also includes a botanical garden. There are over 500 species of ornamental and flowering plants in it. During the month of June, this is the best time to visit. I can assure you that the scent of freshly bloomed flowers will make you feel valued and invigorated; primarily because it will provide you with a visual treat.

I know you enjoy trying new things, and this is a good place for you to try crazy sports. You can go mountain climbing, trekking, and skydiving in a forest and mountain area near the cottage. If you want to participate in such activities, you must bring some woolen clothing, socks, shoes, and jackets.

Band 7 IELTS Letter

I am pleased to know that you are coming to my native place for a few days. I hope everything is fine. We are also doing well. It would be an honor to give the details of my native.

As you know that I am from Sikkim, it is a place of mountains. If you come to Sikkim, I would request you to stay in Gangtok at the MG marg. The hotels are cheap and the view is very nice from there. In the evening, you can come down to MG Marg and relax. People from all over India come here to spend their evening. For the first three days, you can stay in Gangtok and enjoy the sightseeings. These include areas like nathuLa, Changu lake, baba mandir and few waterfalls on the way. For the next two days, I would suggest you to stay in lachung and lachen. These are the most beautiful places among the mountains. You can see the clouds below your feet. Every morning, the clouds come down and enter the room from the windows. I would suggest you bring woolen clothes and it will be severely cold. Also, I can help you with the bookings and taxi for the sightseeings.
