Dear Aahana,

I hope you are doing well by the mercy of God. I hope your parents are also keeping well. I recently got your letter about your curiosity of yours to know about some major news in my country. I am happy and very glad to write this letter henceforth. I will be happy to give insights about what currently is going on in my country.

Rainfall in India has been excessive this year, as it has been in previous years. Last year, Kerala was inundated, and normal life was disrupted for three to four days. This year's weather forecast predicts the same thing. The government has taken action. By now, safety precautions have been taken, and the monsoon is expected to pass without incident.

The elections are another topic of discussion. Democrats have been in power for two consecutive terms and have performed admirably. However, the populace favors Republicans this time, and they are likely to establish a government, with the next president being a Republican member. There are many points of contention, and both parties' proclamations make huge promises, and the election is heating up.

This is an exciting time because people are demonstrating a high degree of interest, and campaigning is quite rigorous. Furthermore, there are a number of charges against each other that have piqued people's interest. There are two months until the nation's election, and the picture will be obvious. This is the only thing going on here. I am also curious about important news stories in your country.

Band 6.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Surjo,

I hope everything is going well with you. Also, I hope that your parents are also keeping well at the mercy of the lord.

I am extremely happy to write this letter since you are interested in some big news from my country. Everything is well here, and I am currently studying for my entrance examinations, which will aid in my acceptance to the post-graduate diploma program. You know how hard I've been working on it from the first days of our vacation. You may have heard about the URI attack in Jammu and Kashmir recently. The Indian military and citizenry were taken aback. Terrorists attacked the soldiers while they were sleeping. The cruel-minded cold-hearted animals made such a despicable move. Also, during the incident, uncle Mahesh lost his best friend. He and his entire family have left the station to attend the funeral and express condolences to his family.

Despite his outward appearance, uncle Mahesh is very disturbed by this episode. Hopefully, these occurrences will fortify him in the future. The entire family is concerned about him. I hope that the Indian government and army would provide justice for the lost souls. God bless the families of the fallen servicemen. As a result, India as a nation will have to return to its normal state

However, it has been a long time since we met, and I hope to meet you as early as possible.

Band 6 IELTS Letter

Dear Rituraj,

I hope everything in your life is going well. I also pray that your parents are doing well at the Lord's mercy.

There is something painful that happened recently in my country. I still remember how you and your family loved to listen to the songs of the respected melodious queen Lata Mangeshkar. Whenever I went to your place, the songs of Shree Lata Mangeshkar always soothened my ears. This is one of the finest reasons why I used to love the culture of your house.

However, it is very sad to know that recently the melodious queen Lata Mangeshkar passed away. Due to organ failure multiple times, she took her last breath the previous week. I still remember how you and I together used to listen to the songs and kept on humming the melody. She was actually suffering from pneumonia. It is her willpower of her that kept her alive to date. Also, in her later times whenever she came to the stage and start singing, the entire audience felt the same nostalgic feeling as before.

It is actually a mournful incident and a great loss for the music industry of India. The entire citizens of India along with our honorable Prime Minister became out of words. Even my parents also shredded tears as they are huge fans of her singing and her personality.

Anyway, I hope you will turn up at your earliest and meet me. My parents are very eager to see you as they miss you and often ask me about you.
