Band 8 IELTS Letter

Hello Sir,

The main reason I'm writing this letter is to tell you how worried I am about the Queen's library, which is a famous building, falling apart. It is an old library that was built by Queen Victoria. It is our city's most important piece of history. It is also a sign of our country's history, culture, and traditions.

But because no upkeep has been done on the building in ten years, it is in terrible shape now. So, please give me a moment to explain further. First, the color isn't as bright as it used to be. This makes it look old and makes it harder for people to recognize. Second, the pillars are strong enough, but the tops and walls are getting very weak.

I hope you can understand what I've said above. Also, I'd like to make some ideas that will help make the building better. First, the library should be painted a dark color and have a sign so people can find it easily. Last but not least, roofs should be changed so that accidents don't happen. I'd appreciate it if you could tell the higher-ups about these ideas, and hopefully they'll do something to fix things as soon as possible.

I hope to hear from you in the near future.

With best wishes,

Amit

Dear Mr. kunal

I'm writing to tell you that some old houses in Damietta are in bad shape and need to be fixed up. I'd be happy if you thought this was a good idea.

So far, I've been reading your posts for more than five years. My name is Jay, and I live in Damietta. Even though Damietta is a well-run city, some of its ancient sites are not taken care of. Like the Mosque of Taha, the Old Mill building, and the building of the University of Damietta.

Let me tell you how the houses look right now. First, their walls are about to come tumbling down. Second, these important places don't have enough light. Lastly, most of these buildings don't have protection systems, which could be dangerous.

I'd like to ask you to sound the alarm and write an article about this problem so that it gets more attention and encourages people to act quickly to fix it.

I'm glad you're giving this some thought.

All the best,

Amogh

To the editor

I'm writing you this letter to tell you about our local library building, which is on the main street and is one of the best places for all of us to read and learn.

As you know, this building is a symbol of our core values, even though we have more modern ways of taking care of the environment. It is very upsetting to see the roof of this building without a proper cover. We also noticed that there isn't much airflow during the day. Also, there are animals playing inside the library building, and we don't know how people will spend their time there.

Considering where we are and what's going on, we should tell people about this news. So, I'd like you to help me get this word to our local communities so that they can also understand it and come up with a plan to secure our building as soon as possible.

I can't wait to hear what you say about how to save our public assets.

Yours Sincerely,

Kumari
