Respected sir/madam,
After my higher secondary schooling, I chose a bachelor's degree in physical education. I have always been interested in sports. I have played football at professional level in my school days. I have faced the struggle of a sportsman, from struggling to make it to a thrice national football player including two in senior’s category. Addressing my interest in football my friends suggested that I opt for a degree in physical education. I remember in class 12th that I was hurt and it injured my back. Then I saw my dreams of football fading away in the smoke. But I wanted to make my career in football so I thought I could leverage my skills in the coaching field. So, I completed my Group-D coaching license in football.
I successfully aced my coaching diploma at a young age, in freshmen in college. In college after a few months I faced financial challenges. I couldn’t ask my family to bail me out of this financial issue because I knew they couldn't help either.
Then I thought I should put my skill at work, although part time as my graduation was not completed so it would be naïve to go for a full time job. Then I applied for a part time job in a football’s club as a coach. My applications got rejected many times, few were not satisfied with my achievement and few were disagreeing with my methodology of coaching.
One fine day, I received mail that read, ‘Congratulations, your application is selected for the role of junior coach’ I was so overwhelmed. I happily joined the club the next week and I am still improving my skills.
Yours faithfully.

Respected sir/madam,
In my college days, I ought to become financially independent. I had no skills to hire me for any role but my sports career which flourished in my school days was there to rescue me. I applied in many football clubs and sports gyms for a part time job. I failed many rejections but I kept on trying, I was motivated throughout the journey. I kept my intrinsic motivation always high as I had nothing to lose.
I learnt this attitude from my sports days. Sports taught me there is only one way going and wherever you stop, that’s not a halt that the full stop. This is because in sports as a player takes a pause he is offering an opportunity for other players to rise and shine.
So I kept this thought in my mind all the time and I kept on applying for the part time jobs in the sports gym and football clubs. I had my Group-D coach diploma, which helped me a lot in this feat. I am no good player now as I was then, yet I kept on applying thinking that the manager might get impressed with my diploma and certificates of participation. The medals I won in football nationals.
Finally, one club offered me an opportunity to teach junior football players’ the dribble skills. I welcomed the offer, I was in no position to decline the offer and I accepted the offer. I joined the part time coaching in the club and I gave results within a week. Players and manager are so happy with my performance and contribution that the manager wants me to join as full time coach, awaiting my graduation degree.
Yours faithfully.

Respected sir/madam,
I am expressing by this letter that I am interested in a part-time job position as a coach at your prestigious football club. It is about which you published an advertisement online a few days ago.
I was born and brought up in this town, and I graduated from Physical Education University about a couple of years ago. Having graduated in B.P.ED, I did one full-time job as an Assistant Manager at a renowned football club and a part-time job at a restaurant. Unfortunately, none of these jobs really went well with my personality.
In the past, I’ve played and lived football. In the past, as a school student, I was elected as president and sports in-charge to coordinate inter-college and intra-college tournaments. Additionally, I have also attended a course in Nutrition and Personal Training certification in which I can leverage my skills to offer some essential nutritional and health programs. I’ll be pleased to start as soon as you ask me to as I present my much affinity to football.
I am indulging in other hectic commitments in the morning. So, I'd like to render my coaching service, preferably after 1500 hrs during weekdays and on Sunday I will be available anytime to render my service. I will be pleased if you would offer me an opportunity as a part-time coach in this prestigious football club. Furthermore, I have the abilities to assign roles to the players for the position where they would be most efficient. To revisit the videos to look for ways to further improve the game for the individual as well as the team. Besides, I can give guidance and motivation to the players and inspire them to pursue a professional football career. I always put emphasis on high academic importance for the players as well.
Therefore, on the basis of my skills and credibility, I confidently believe that I’ll be able to provide efficient service to the club as a gig-coach.
Your acceptance would be appreciated if you offer me the opportunity as a part-time, gig, football coach at the club. I hope I can develop and grow our regional level players’ bench strength to our national team.
Yours faithfully.
