Band 8.5 IELTS Letter
Hello Joshi,
I hope this letter finds you at the peak of your health and spirit. I am sure you are safe and sound. I wanted to write this letter to thank you for paying a visit and staying at my place. It was really my pleasure to host you. You are one of my oldest friend whom I met almost after 8 years. I am really glad that I could keep you at my place and show you the city. I hope you also enjoyed your stay here.
I was cleaning the room you stayed in when I found out that you left your cell phone at my place. I can understand how important a cell phone can be. Hence, I am writing this letter. I found the cell phone under the table. I think you must have kept it on the table and it somehow fell down. This might have skipped your mind and you have forgot to take the device with you. I have tried calling on your home number but could not reach you. Please do not worry as the phone is safe with me.
I wanted to know how can I send the cell phone back to you. I was planning to pack the device and send it via courier. However, I am not sure which courier is available at your location. Also let me know the fastest one available so that you can have your phone back as soon as possible.
Hope to see you soon.
Regards,
Amit
Band 7.5 IELTS Letter
Hey Dear Anshul,
I hope you are doing well. Thank you for visiting my place last weekend. I had one of my best weekends ever with you. I'm happy that we could meet. I will preserve such memorable days in my mind.
Buddy, I have a good news for you. I found your phone the day before when I was cleaning the dining room. It was under the sofa. My little cat, in my opinion, is to blame. You must have kept the phone on the sofa and my cat must have dropped it. I sincerely apologize for having such a wild cat. You can still recall how much she enjoyed playing with your cell phone.
I have thought a plan to return the phone. I will travel to Bangalore on Monday due to some official work. I think it's the best that I bring your phone muself. However, I can also send it by post as soon as possible if you require it earlier.
If you think this plan is right for you, please don't hesitate to contact me by phone or email. I would be delighted to get a response from your end.
Regards,
Rahul
Band 7 IELTS Letter
Hello Shelly,
I hope you are doing well. Hope this letter brings you joy and happiness. I am glad to inform you that I enjoyed last weekend very much. We met after so long and this meeting was successful. Thanks for the heavenly food that you treated me with. I hope we do enjoy such beautiful time again very soon.
I am writing this letter to inform you that you have left your cell phone behind. I found the device on the shelf of the kitchen. I think you must have forgotten to take it while packing your luggages. I can understand how important it is for anyone. Hence, I wanted to return the phone as soon as possible.
I am planning to visit Kolkata tomorrow. On the way, I can drop the phone at your nearest station. Once I board the train, I will give a call on your home number. Please do come to the station and collect the mobile.
Please let me know if this plan is suitable for you.
Regards,
Vimla
