Letter to a Friend Regarding a Coat that You Left at Their Place IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter writing topic. Dear Vikas,
How are you? I hope you are in good health. I had a great time this weekend. We had a lot of fun and I enjoyed it a lot. As I was having an exhausted routine, spending time with you made my mind fresh. We chatted a lot and played a lot of games.
Though, I am writing this letter to inform you that I left my new coat at your house. I probably left it on your bed where we were playing video games. Do you remember the black coat that I wore when I arrived at your house? It is a black coat of medium length that goes till my thigh.It has a zippered inner bib, three large buttons and side pockets on both sides. It is made of nylon and wool and you can detect it as soon as you see it.
One of its pockets contains my wallet with cash. Also there is a handkerchief in another pocket.
My wallet is important and it is my favourite coat. I am thinking of picking it up by tomorrow evening. Let me know if you will be available at home during the evening. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Though, I am writing this letter to inform and inquire about my green coat left at your place. I wore it on the weekend and you must have noticed. It is quite thick and made of wool. It is soft in touch and has a logo on its front pocket. It has three front pockets and two inner pockets. There are four large green color buttons on the front. You can detect it easily. I think I might have left it on the hooks behind your door. I hung it there.
There is my wallet along with my office ID. The ID as well as wallet is important for me. I might need the coat as soon as possible. Because without an office ID I can't go to work. I would like to request you to send it through a speed courier. Put the two way pay option. I will pay for the charges. Send it as soon as possible, looking forward to hearing from you.

I remember that it was cold and suddenly we started jumping and dancing. She to the heat produced by dances I started feeling hot. So, I removed my coat and left it on your sofa. Then we started playing video games and eating at the same time. We had a lot of gossip. So, I forgot my coat on your sofa. It is of brown color and of medium thigh length. It has three large elephant teeth shaped buttons on the front. It has two pockets on front and three inside. You might be able to detect it as you saw me wearing it.
There are few office related documents inside the pocket. Also, there is my office ID. So without ID I won't be able to enter my office. There is some cash too. It is urgent to get the coat. I will be coming to your place by tomorrow afternoon. I hope you will be present at home. Let me know if you will be unavailable.
