Band 7 IELTS Essay

Dear Rachel,

Hope you are doing good. First of all congratulations on your new role and moreover very much happy to hear that you will be moving to my city and heartily waiting to welcome you.

It is one of the most beautiful cities with lots of hospitals, modern buildings, hotels and restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The city is full of colourful flowers and the whole environment is green. You will get a very relaxed and friendly vibe as most people are very friendly.

My suggestion is that you could stay near my apartment where you will get a wonderful view. You will get every facility in that area according to your comfort. The most interesting fact about the city of New York is that of the amazing restaurants and cafes it has. Because you love food blogging, I am sure together, we would be able to explore some great places of food in this city.

The transport facility is very good and safe. You can get a train, bus, etc every five minutes. Moreover, for the benefit of each and every passenger. There is a monthly pass, online ticketing, and card system. You have to recharge the card monthly. The biggest advantage of this card is that you can travel with this card as many times as you want. You can travel to any city without any complications. For emergency needs, there are also taxi services.

Let me know when you will come to my city as I will introduce you to some of my friends and families. They will make sure that you do not miss your family. You will feel good and like them after meeting them. As the cost of living is a little high in the city, you can share rooms. The people here are quite busy but they are quite friendly as well. Considering you heartwarming and extrovert nature, you would fit right away in the city. Anyway, come soon eagerly waiting to meet you.

First and foremost many many congratulations on your new job. I am very glad to hear that you are moving to my place. You have worked really hard to get your dream job and I am extremely happy that you got yours. I can’t wait meet and celebrate such a huge milestone of your life with you. Talking about you moving to my city, I would love tell you about the most amazing things about the city of London. From my experience, I must say that you are coming to a very beautiful and entertaining city.

The most attractive part of this city is that there is always something going on like a music festival, dance festival, sports like skating, etc. You will never feel bored by living in this city. I love how people are extremely humble in this country and I love the fact that I am able ensure that you have been able to secure a position here. You would love the people, the culture, the extravagant lifestyle of people here.

The transportation cost is very much affordable and reliable. Public transport is very convenient and cheap and you can go anywhere in the city with the help of public transport like train, buses, taxis which is available all the time. Most people prefer buses and trains. The bus station is near my apartment which is within a walkable distance. On weekends, we arrange a get-together with friends. Here, it is very easy to make new friends as people are very friendly and open-minded. Don't worry, I will introduce you to some of my very good friends and surely you will meet people in your workplace. If you want to meet local people, we can stay in a shared house. I know it's not very easy to cope up in a new place. But definitely, I am always here for you. Always feel free to reach or contact me. Band 8.5 IELTS Letter

Dear John,

I am very happy that you are moving to my place and I want to congratulate you on your new job. I am very excited to receive you in my city. After a long gap, we are going to meet and we can spend a lot of time together. I promise you are surely going to love this city.

As I know, your workplace will be very close to my apartment. You will get all the basic facilities near the office, such as cafes, restaurants, hospitals, bars, shopping centers, gyms, etc. So, I suggest you look for a rental house nearby my apartment as all the facilities are within a walkable distance of around five to ten minutes. In that area, there is a park for everyone in which children can play and you can go for a morning or evening walk. The atmosphere of the park is very calm which I think is very much essential to keep our mind and body active and healthy. You will meet people of different cultures and nationalities. I am sure that you can make friends with them.

Compared with other places, you will find that the transport facility is very good. There are metro trains, buses, cabs, bikes, etc which are available all the time. Public transport is connected to most parts of the city and is very convenient. The cab facility is reasonable and very much safe for everyone. I mostly prefer cabs as public transport is crowded.

You will feel very good when you come to the city. I will introduce you to some of my close friends and will see that you feel comfortable being a part of the friend circle. Moreover, you will get more friends in your office. The best part of the city is that the local people are very helpful and friendly. For cost-saving, I would suggest you live in a shared apartment. Lastly, I can say that it is the best place where you can fulfill all your dreams.
