Respected Sir/Madam,

With this letter, I would like to convey my interest in a night shift teaching position teaching English at your community college. I am submitting an application for this position in response to an advertisement that was featured in a regional daily newspaper a few days ago.

Since I have a day job, I have not been able to teach English as often as I would have liked to. I have been seeking opportunities like this for a long time. Now that you are providing this opportunity, I want to seize it with both hands in order to educate the children. On the finer points of English communication while also helping a worthwhile cause.

I have a bachelor's degree in education under my belt and have taken a quick certification course in "Grammar, Vocabulary and Accent Training. I believe both of which attest to my qualifications to teach English at your college. Aside from that, I have previously taught young children English at home.

If you grant me the opportunity to teach English at your college, I am certain that I will be able to perform a good job.
