Letter to a Bookstore Manager Living in Another City IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter-writing topic. Why do you need this book?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am an ardent book lover and have bought the majority of the books from your store because it has a great collection of books from all genres. I have been looking for a book named “The Origin” by Dan Brown for a week but it’s unavailable at your store.

I have read all the previous books of Dan Brown’s series and I am highly curious to read even this book considering I am a stringent follower of Dan Brown. Moreover, all my friends have already read the book and the feedback has been amazing.

Considering that I am out of town for a week and would be back by next Tuesday, I would request you to kindly make the book available and keep one copy for me so that I can visit on the day and make my purchase.

Hoping to buy the book next week from your store.

I have been a book nerd since my childhood and have bought my books from your store since then. Being a book lover, I have been searching for a book for a month now and have not been able to find it in your store. The book I am in search of is The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho published in 2021.

My friends have recommended this book to me considering they are aware of my love for fiction and classics. Being a fan of Paulo Coelho’s writings I am in dire need of the book and want to make my purchase from your store itself. With high praise being heard for the book, I am restless enough to buy the book and read it.

I would visit your store by the end of this week and would request you to kindly make the copies of the book available and keep one on hold for me.
