Write a Letter to Your Friend to Congratulate Him on His New Born Baby IELTS Writing Task 1 is a letter writing topic and has 3 different sample answers. I have received wonderful news about the birth of your baby girl. Well, our charming princess is finally among us. I saw her photo on Instagram. She is really adorable. I send my most sincere congratulations to you, your husband and the entire family.

I am sure that his appearance will bring much happiness and fortune to the family. I can't wait to meet her. I already bought her a gift. I checked several items and finally chose a bassinet because I found it very useful for my baby.

You can carry a baby when going out or even at home to comfort him with toys hanging on his bed. Finally, I plan to visit you next Friday, October 5, at about 4 p.m.

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Sara,

I am delighted to hear about the arrival of a new member of the family. Shen showed me some photos of Godwin. He's so adorable and I can't wait to meet you. Yesterday I went to the nearby shopping mall to look for a gift for our beloved Godwin. I was surprised to see so many choices and didn't know what to buy when I saw a baby sitting in a stroller playing with a rattle.

It was very colorful and he smiled every time he heard it, so I bought one for Godwin.

It is made of wood so you have to worry if he chews it. I also bought her a baby basket.

I'm going into town tomorrow to visit one of my customers and thought I'd pay you a visit. If you're free, let me know I'll stop by to see you, Alex and Godwin.
