I hope that this letter finds you at the peak of your health and spirit. I recently came across an advertisement in the newspaper looking for people who would take care of the old in a nursing home. I am really interested in this position and want to start working.

I believe that helping the poor and the needy is the most important thing that a person can do. I believe that we should help others whenever possible. This is the reason I wanted to volunteer for the position of taking care of the old people in the nursing house. I am also related to an NGO and we do all these kings of social work. During Covid, we helped almost 200 senior citizens get their food, medicine, groceries and other livelihood. We also take care of the people who are specially abled and cannot do tasks on their own. Our NGO is renowned all over the state. I have been working with this NGO for the last 3 years. I know how to handle old people and take care of them. I believe that the most important part is making them happy. Since I am currently working, I will get weekend off. I am ready to devote my time off for this work of angels.

I will be free every Saturday and Sunday and for the weekdays, from the evening till night. I can start working from tomorrow since today is Friday. I already have made the preparations hoping that I will get a positive response. I will be awaiting your response.

I also have an emergency kit which I will be able to carry with me.
