Band 7 IELTS Essay

It is argued that having a sports class on school schedules is not as important as providing students with full-time academic subjects. In my experience, children should have time at school to play sports rather than just study hard because it can benefit both their mental and physical health. It is true that diligent study is essential.

To begin with, spending time playing sports can help school-age children unwind from their rigorous studies. Activities such as football, basketball, and swimming help them relax after sitting and focusing on academic subjects all day. I liked to go swimming after my serious school classes at least three times a week, which allowed me to hold the rest of the hard-study week together. As a result, participating in sports can benefit students. Children, on the other hand, must enjoy learning at school. Furthermore, participating in sports encourages children to study. The goal is to motivate children to study and complete their assignments so that when they are finished, they can enjoy themselves.

Playing gives a child enjoyment and fun. It is in the nature of children to have fun and participate in sports that they enjoy. There are some lessons that math and science cannot teach. Children who participate in sports learn about teamwork and open-mindedness, as well as how to deal with social situations. Furthermore, parental guidance is still extremely important. Parents must attend and look after their children's well-being. Young people can participate in extracurricular activities if they are determined and dedicated to their studies. They must be taught at a young age to be responsible for balancing their time between study and play. However, if parents are harsh with their children, this can lead to rebellion, in which children refuse to listen to their parents and disobey rules. This may also cause the child to perform poorly in school.

As a result, children's actions must be appropriately guided. When it comes to education and enjoyment, parents must be flexible in their discipline.

Some parents have a policy of forbidding their children from participating in sports activities, something I completely disagree with. The second reason is that participating in sports can lead to students becoming stronger, which can improve their ability to study and learn more effectively. Students who regularly participate in sports, for example, will be stronger and have more energy than students who do not participate. As a result, they are better able to study hard and stay healthy.

Additionally, sports activities can benefit students' mental and physical health, making them more energetic and effective in their academic studies. As a result, rather than academic classes, schools should balance students' time with physical activities. To be competitive in this world, students need to learn about all subjects and be provided with special facilities to support them. We need to teach them how to be more sociable and cooperative in group projects. Thus, we can use sporting events to demonstrate how to get along with one another and to teach them strategies for working as a team to win the game. For example, in football matches, we have different positions and our children should accept one of them; some should defend, while others should attack. It is an excellent opportunity for them to improve their life skills. Second, we should keep our children healthy. Obesity is on the rise among our students, and it has a negative impact on their mental health and well-being. Studies show that successful alumni work out on a regular basis, have higher self-esteem, and manage their time well to get the best of both worlds.

In conclusion, it is clear that our children require physical activities in order to be more productive and successful in school. Additionally, our government should consider their health and promote an active society.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

Some people believe that children should spend more time studying in the classroom than playing sports, since sports waste valuable learning time. Others, including myself, believe that sport is one of the most important subjects that should be taught in schools for a variety of reasons. The reasons for my disagreement with the statement will be explained in the following paragraphs of this essay. To begin with, athletics can provide an opportunity to improve the well-being of many students.

Kids who excel in a particular sport will always receive athlete scholarships and support from sponsors, enabling them to access higher education. Furthermore, sports can generate a large amount of income to feed themselves and their families. For example, Lenado Messi, a well-known soccer player in Argentina, earns $2 million for playing only two-hour matches. As a result of football, he has been able to rise from obscurity to become the most successful football player in history, capable of affording anything in the world. Second, athletics has a greater impact on children's mental and physical health than hard study, which only causes anxiety and stress. In other words, exercise can help to alleviate unpleasant feelings of boredom. Cardio at the end of the day, in my experience, can alleviate my anxiety about boring and stressful work. Furthermore, weight training can improve my physical body and boost my confidence.Regular exercise improves the health and fitness of people, so they are more likely to be confident and improve their quality of life. My conclusion is that sports are just as important as learning in the classroom, and shouldn't be considered a waste of time.
