Band 8 IELTS Essay

Travelling across borders has recently become simpler than ever for the general public. Travelling enables us to learn new things and uncover novel concepts. Despite the fact that practical transportation options bring people together, there are certain drawbacks.

The subject of transportation has experienced tremendous expansion and development in our society. These days, travelling is more affordable and convenient, allowing us to have a closer look at and understanding of other cultures. As a result, we can learn more about other people. Travelling exposes people to various lifestyle, sartorial, linguistic, and gastronomic variations and persuades them that variation is totally acceptable. People are more accepting as a result. Travelling is a fantastic method for people to escape the tedium of everyday life.

Their mental faculties are revived, and it aids in energy restoration. In the hotel industry, travelling opens up a lot of chances.

But there are also some drawbacks to the increase in travel. Travelling, and flying in particular, is harmful for the environment, and this is the fundamental issue. It's also possible for travellers to bring in new diseases. The homes of indigenous people, for instance, are frequently visited by tourists. These people have no knowledge of the microorganisms and viruses that plague urban and suburban dwellers. They could transfer these viruses to them while they are there, and they could be lethal. A further problem is disputes between tourists and residents.

In conclusion, the convenience of travel has undoubtedly made it possible for more and more individuals to visit different locations and learn about them. An increase in travel does, however, also have an impact on the environment and may even hasten the spread of infectious diseases. So, in my perspective, there are equally positive and negative parts to travelling.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

In recent years, there has been a trend where more and more people opt to go to foreign nations. In the paragraphs that follow, I'll go into further detail about why I believe this to be a good trend.

This phenomena is a result of various reasons. First, the cost of flights has decreased as a result of technological advancements, which has lowered the expense of foreign travel. Furthermore, more individuals are eager to travel abroad since they won't face a language barrier as a result of English's rise to prominence as the world's most widely spoken language and the expansion of English language programmes in schools across the globe.

The visa application process has also become more user-friendly as links between various nations have gotten stronger. Obtaining a foreign visa is simpler than it once was.

I believe that the growth of international travel should be viewed as a good thing. First off, an increase in tourists may increase demand for goods and services associated with tourism, such as lodging, transportation, and admission tickets. As a result of this development, there may be more employment opportunities and greater wages for locals, which will help the area's economy.

In another sense, I can't argue against the advantages of travel. First of all, it improves mood. Some people use travel as an escape from the daily grind. Additionally, they workout outside while they travel. They will therefore be more productive and have a clearer head. Second, it broadens interpersonal relationships and improves communication. Additionally, it inspires people to live lives that are worthy of living. Not to mention, travelling is an excellent method to learn. People who travel with an open mind can learn new things from many civilizations and regions that are not possible to learn through books.

Additionally, from a person's point of view, travelling overseas can give them first-hand knowledge of many cultures, making the interaction and engagement of their study of foreign languages and cultures, which could aid in their ability to understand various civilizations, more enjoyable.

As was already mentioned, I believe that the trend of more people travelling abroad is advantageous because it can help both the local economy and the people travelling.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

People are now able to travel to every place in the globe extremely simply and with few restrictions because of improvements in the travel and tourism business. This, in my opinion, is generally a good thing since it makes it possible for people from all over the world to interact and do business with one another, which strengthens international ties and the global economy.

People in the past struggled to travel, especially outside of their own country, due to a lack of transportation infrastructure. Many flights have been produced thanks to the development of the most recent technologies, enabling individuals to go to any country they choose. The dream of travelling abroad is one that many individuals often have, whether it is for vacation, higher education, or job prospects.

In general, travel has had an impact on a nation's development. The economic impact comes first. Services have recently been crucial to the economies of many nations. Travel service is crucial, especially in industrialised nations because it helps the economy expand. Since it promotes a nation to tourists and draws investment, other sectors grow. The next effect is on culture and society. A country's ability to interact with other nations is made possible by tourism. Traditional values will therefore be protected.

The educational system in some industrialised nations is of higher calibre, allowing students to enrol in top-notch programmes and so improve their chances of reintegrating into society.

Furthermore, international trade allows for improved interactions between nations' citizens. To further explain, individuals can now import the materials they require as well as export the resources that are accessible in their countries in excess. The economy as a whole is being helped greatly by this. In addition to these advantages, people can go to modern transport infrastructure in other nations to meet their loved ones.

To sum up, the ability of individuals to travel to other nations enhanced the social and economic ties between the various countries, which in turn boosted their boldness toward one another. This is a positive development that should be supported.
