"It is advantageous," argue some individuals, "to maximize the sharing of information in a widespread manner." While some assert that certain information must cater to the scientific, business, and academic domains: others argue for a more flexible approach – suggesting this data can be adapted as needed. Because of its significant importance or value, one should not freely share it; I concur with this perspective. The viewpoint asserts that the unrestricted availability of crucial information impedes innovation.

Increasing transparency in crucial sectors serves as a solution for solving global issues; this is particularly evident when examining the benefits of increased openness: it fosters trust, encourages accountability – ultimately leading to more effective problem-solving strategies. For instance, consider Moderna: a U.S. biotechnology company that tackles problems with exceptional speed; they provide an exemplary model for efficiency in their field. The organization selflessly shared its mRNA Covid-19 technology worldwide, offering it without any charges; this act exemplified a commitment to global health and collaboration. The pandemic's imminent end hinges on inventors of new products; this is my belief. They would not receive the deserved attention and financial returns, which could potentially impact their performance. Innovative pursuits are often discouraged by ensuing circumstances. Consider this worst case scenario: upon their subsequent endeavor, individuals may face significant setbacks that could potentially jeopardize not only their current progress but also all future advancements; thus, it is crucial to maintain an unwavering commitment towards continual innovation.

The world confronts an emergent issue; however, no individual dares to engage in its resolution. Conversely, when valuable information is shared without any restriction, innovation becomes stifled. Should a company grant their competitors free access to their most recent technology: Creating comparable products to compete with them could easily generate revenue. The company found the technology not worth its investment of time, effort, and resources; consequently, it ceased further development. Humanity might cease inventing and succumb to mimicry instead; however, progress will elude us: we cannot advance if we choose not to innovate. Those who have conceived innovative ideas: I believe it remains paramount--even crucial--for them to continue dreaming; indeed, they must persist in their pursuit of new advancements. They hoard valuable knowledge within their proprietary products.

In conclusion: sharing pivotal information freely--despite its potential for vulnerability and criticism--remains indispensable; indeed, it catalyzes progress. I firmly hold the belief that active suppression accelerates the resolution of international issues. Innovation, therefore, should not be disallowed.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

In today's modern era, many believe that it is unreasonable to restrict information on grounds of public safety or national importance, while information is only available when authorities deem it appropriate to access it. Some think it should be. This essay will consider both views. I personally believe that scientific research, academia, and business can greatly benefit from having full access to information. Proponents of restricting classified information believe that unrestricted access to information can undermine national security, invite public backlash, hand technology to terrorists, and foster corporate monopolies.

Therefore, information should be carefully checked before being published.

In the digital age, information is spreading like wildfire and maintaining world peace requires fragmentation, the group said. For example, if nuclear technology were made available to all countries for scientific research, the world would soon be on the brink of extinction, even though this technology offers great opportunities to meet the energy needs of its citizens. On the contrary, proponents of unrestricted access to information argue that scientific research relies heavily on available data and prior knowledge.

Global progress will stall if valuable information and previous discoveries are not openly shared with scientists and researchers. For example, the Internet is probably the most important invention the modern world has produced, and if this technology had not been shared by the US military, we would still be living in a pre-Internet era.

Moreover, sensitive information has no value unless it is implemented in the real world.

Therefore, locking down sensitive information is like destroying the possibility of progress. World history suggests that humans have evolved through discoveries and inventions shared across the world, but each discovery has led to significant changes and advances. Personally, I prefer the ideology that supports “free information for all.

”In summary, information has limited value if it is restricted and not shared with talented people. For true global progress, restrictions on valuable information must be lifted and the truth known rather than keeping people in the dark.

Some people favor sharing information for research works, business development and academic needs without any filters or restrictions. However, there are others who disagree with this and believe that sensitive or valuable information should not be shared under any circumstances. Both parties have their reasons and this essay will examine both perspectives. I personally tend to believe that not all information should be shared freely, even for scientific, research and business purposes. Those who support unrestrained access to all information say that when information is made available to organizations, scientists, researchers, and academics, they are best utilized.

These people are working on innovation, so restricting access to critical information can hinder progress. For example, if experienced economists are denied access to a country's financial data, they will be unable to guide the nation toward a better fiscal future or warn the nation of an impending financial crisis. On the other hand, proponents of restricting access to sensitive data believe that certain information should never be shared because it can have dire consequences. For example, if a government grants a company unrestricted access to the data of its entire population, that organization will begin to violate the privacy of its citizens. They will begin to use the data for business benefits and at the same time sell that data to other companies. Moreover, nations have intelligence and defense agencies, and when their discoveries are shared with academics and researchers, they end up in the wrong hands, putting the nation's sovereignty and defense capabilities at risk. .

Considering all these aspects, the government should bring innovation and share information that will help the country's development while at the same time restricting some data so that malicious persons cannot access such important and sensitive data. I think it is necessary to do so. In summary, information is very important when used correctly, but it can also be destructive when misused by the wrong people. Therefore, although information should be shared in the national interest, some sensitive data should never be restricted.
