Band 7 IELTS Essay

The idea that seeing everyone around the world is significantly less advantageous than having just one close friend is one that is widely accepted. I think this idea is absolutely correct, and I totally concur.

When the friendship connection is strong, it seems possible to rely on your friend's finances. Anyone could run out of money at some point in their lives or following an incident. In the first place, I'd argue that a true friend is far more encouraging compared to any other acquaintance. The person who actually understands his friend will constantly be willing to help him no matter what the situation. Unlike other people who come and go throughout life. This individual will actively and cheerfully aid his partner despite whether he is capable or not. Unlike other acquaintances who sometimes distance themselves when assistance is required. For instance, even though I know a lot of people. I only have one friend that always supports me when I need it. Because of this, his family is the only source of support for others outside him.

Second, only a close friend can inspire the maximum level of trust. There are acquaintances in this world, such as social pals and coworkers, who exist to take full advantage of others. As long as the main character retains his status as wealthy. These individuals will continue to be his "so-called" pals; however, should things get tough, these acquaintances are unlikely to remain close. A sincere buddy, in contrast, just seeks out a genuine friendship but does not stay for the money.

For instance, even if he suffered major financial problems, my longest friend. And I have maintained an unshakable bond ever since I first met them 15 years ago. As a result, I am entirely willing to trust this individual indefinitely.

I claim that having a close buddy who is completely trustworthy is unquestionably preferable to mingling with tens of thousands of strangers.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

Without a doubt, developing a solid connection requires time and work. While many contend that having only one greatest friend is preferable to having a large network of acquaintances. I think having one loyal friend is preferable to having many friends who you hardly ever interact with.

First of all, a buddy with whom you have a close relationship is someone you can trust. This is due to the time you spent cultivating that friendship. If something has endured for years, it must have existed for a long time. It implies that you are aware of one another's sentiments and emotions. For example, your close friend is much more likely than any of your more recent pals to assist you in a trying circumstance. You're more likely to be let down if you go on your friends for assistance when you're in need. You may as a result have had an emotional trauma that is difficult to recover from. Your future relationships may suffer as a result of this.

Second, you put more faith in a true friend than a mere acquaintance. You understand each other's strengths and weaknesses, which is why. For instance, you don't have to be afraid to disclose something with your best buddy. This demonstrates how the trust grew over time. In contrast, you won't provide any personal information to acquaintances. This demonstrates the value of a loyal friend. Even if it takes a while to establish trust, you can do it in the end. A person's decisions are also trusted when you have confidence in them. In a case where you are torn between the two possibilities, it is really beneficial. They can guide you through any situation.

To sum up, it takes time and work to develop a good relationship. But ultimately, it is worthwhile. One true buddy, in my opinion, can not only support you in any situation, but also ensure that you have each other for the rest of your life.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

It's been suggested that having a close relationship with someone is preferable to having a large social network. Although being people-oriented opens up a world of possibilities, in my opinion a lifetime friendship is incomparable to anything.

First of all, they have such a great deal in common because they are close friends who speak the same language. They get on well and have a great understanding of one another as a result. Second, in a committed relationship, people typically express their emotions freely because they have complete faith in themselves. Finally, since a close friend is typically a trustworthy individual who does not hold you accountable for your faults. You may rely on him or her anytime you encounter any issue.

You put greater faith in a longtime friend than a new acquaintance. Strong friendships allow people to open up and disclose sensitive information that they might normally be reluctant to discuss with others. I think everyone needs a trustworthy buddy who will be compassionate, obedient, and devoted to them. For instance, my childhood friend is the first individual I want to talk to anytime I have a problem.

On the other extreme, developing new acquaintances is a key talent to accomplish a variety of job opportunities in the modern era. For instance, if you have a wide group of friends who work in your industry. You will certainly have more opportunities to learn important information about the state of the labor market. Additionally, engaging with various people improves communication skills. Which are crucial for showcasing your accomplishments and personalities in a business meeting. It is much more difficult to sustain relationships with people who have distinct behaviors and cultures than it is to maintain a close friendship.

In conclusion, having a close buddy has more advantages in my opinion because it is simpler to maintain and you can enjoy a warm relationship with them. Even though there are many advantages to socializing and staying in touch with different individuals.
