Topic: Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather than Secondary School. Do the advantages of this outweigh disadvantages?

Model Answer 1

In the modern era it is important to have knowledge about foreign dialects. Especially one who has thought of studying abroad. Many people are of the opinion that children should be taught languages from primary. According to them there should be primary language teaching as compared to teaching in secondary or high school. I totally agree with the point. There are merits and demerits for both.
The first and foremost is that for children it is a bit difficult. In their primary school age it is difficult for them to understand the concepts of grammar, vocabulary and more. They are intellectually weak. They must be taught their own mother language. Teaching different languages at the same time will make them confused. They might feel overburdened and exhausted.
It is advantageous as well. To learn foreign dialects at primary or inception age is beneficial. The main reason is also that children have good grasping power. They can learn and grasp things easily. Slowly the memory also starts fading due to other burdens. The learning power decreases as well. As a result, what they learn is easily stored in the brain. At this age they are able to administer and store different information. Also, learning a different language is time consuming. Starting from primary age offers plenty of time. By the time a child comes to high school he/she becomes proficient in it. It also increases personality and skills. It acts as a great impression. It is useful for the students who want to study abroad.
To conclude, it is a great thing to start foreign dialect from primary age. There might be disadvantages. But advantages weigh over the disadvantages. Primary age learning offers fast learning. It helps students who want to study abroad. One does not need to learn main languages like French, Spanish etc.

Model Answer 2

Learning and acquiring knowledge is an important aspect of life. Learning plays an important role when it comes to learning languages. There are many opinions about language learning age. Some say language learning at the primary age is perfect. While others say it should be done in high school or secondary school. I support the former view. There are many advantages to early learning.
Learning foreign dialect at primary age is rational because of many reasons. First reason is that children have a huge learning capability. They are capable of learning a particular thing easily and fast. They have a higher memory power. Learning foreign languages will also boost their confidence and improve their communication skills. Because they would be able to communicate with kids from other countries. Also, it will empower them to avail the knowledge which they were not able to avail earlier.
There are many demerits as well. The demerits might make merits influence less .There will be over burden and pressure on the kids. The primary school age is the playing and observing age. They will be pressured by learning the languages they never see anyone speak. Maturity should come with age. Learning a new language and communicating might make them mature before their age. It looks awkward when someone of a small age acts so maturely according to their age. They will also be able to feel departed from society. Many people might be influenced by the judgment. They will get many negative comments on their ability. Somer people might comsidewr it stupid to leaern a alanguage of different country.
To conclude, learning a foreign language at primary stage will make them confused about other subjects. They must be given learning according to their age. It will overburden them. They might feel pressured or exhausted.

Model Answer 3

Due to the influence of foreign studies and their system. It has also become a necessity to learn different languages. It will help one to avail the knowledge of different regions and cultures. It is quite controversial about the operfectvtoiming to start learning a different language. Some people and experts say that learning must start from primary school nage. Children will be more beneficial to learn at primary school as compared to secondary school. There are many defensible arguments on the same.
The experts support their answers by presenting many facts. Much research has been done on this. According to recent research the age of 4-9 is the crucial age. Learning process takes place easily during this age. They prove this by an experiment on 100 people. It proves that children will learn better and effectively during this age. Children are able to manage their thoughts at this age. They don't have any other tension or stress. This makes them focus on a particular area. As the age increases there are many situations a person is exposed to. I personally support this viewpoint.I would like to prove it by an example. Few years ago, my younger sister and I were traveling through the railway. There we met a German speaking person. Due to my elementary knowledge of German, my sister started a conversation with the person. She was actually translating everything to me. I was very amazed and happy by her learning. Also, to learn a particular foreeign languages take time. If a person starts learning it at high school it will take much time due to memory decrease. Also, if the person starts at primary school it will be easier to learn. The person will be proficient by the time he/she comes to high school.
To conclude, Children must be provided opportunities to learn other languages. The learning must start from primary school. It will be a great step towards the betterment of the child's future.
