Model Answer 1

Language can be explained as an organism that keeps growing with evolution and an aging population. Each and every language gets influenced by the other language that is being spoken and further undertakes evolution on its own. However, in today’s era, languages are being witnessed to lose their cultural value as they are being less considered to be spoken and losing their popularity. This is the major challenge that is being faced at huge numbers by local languages and due to this, local languages become extinct due to the growing acclaim of English as it is addressed to be a global language. The three questions as mentioned in the topic will be discussed in detail in the preceding sections of the essay. English has been set as a standard language and has become a global means of communication in the fields of education and professional sector. Moreover, an increasing number of schools and colleges are adapting to English as a means of subject and communication method. Nevertheless, students still attend state-funded schools where English might not have aunty prevalence, however they are coerced into taking up English classes and adapting it as a medium to speak. Moreover, there is a necessity to ensure proficiency in English when attempting to sit for a job interview. Thus, it can be stated that knowing English is a status symbol in today’s day and determines the education of an individual. If a person is unable to have a conversation in English, they might be addressed as being uneducated and get taunted for their lack of skills in English. To conclude with, I would like to mention that knowing the English language in today’s date is a necessity and one must have the basic knowledge to speak and understand the English language.

Model Answer 2

Languages have evolved over ages and have been spoken from generation to generation. Due to this activity, they have managed to ensure their existence in the current society and further stick with some of the cultures. However, it is needless to mention that English as a language has taken over the modern world processes and it is necessary for an individual to be able to understand and converse in English. This essay will produce an argumentative piece on the mentioned topic. First and foremost, I would like to mention that the growing importance of English has led to the suffering of local and traditional languages. Local languages are being neglected by individuals due to which lexicon and grammatical rules are being eradicated. Moreover, due to eradication of local and regional languages, the cultural denotations and ideologies are also being neglected. Furthermore, due to lack of interest in local language, individuals are losing interest in literature and creative arts that are portrayed by cultures and it has become a puzzle for the readers of today’s date. The local languages deal with folklores, songs, poetry and rhymes that have social values and can’t be taught to the generations that are yet to witness these amazing pieces of literature. Furthermore, due to lack of skills associated with English, there are individuals that are losing their jobs at an increased rate and some can’t even qualify for the interview rounds. No doubt, English as a language is necessary as it is a commonly accepted medium for people to have conversation. However, it is equally important for individuals to value their local language and preserve it as a heritage. To conclude with, I would like to highlight that both the regional and international languages are important to a person’s linguistic development. While the local language keeps us grounded in our roots and makes us feel proud, others are just an accepted medium for a global standard.

Model Answer 3

Over the past years English has been dominating as a language and has become a key important factor in school curriculum. But at the same time, there is a necessity to preserve local language and learning the English language, as one is meant for preserving the heritage and the other is a necessity for succeeding in future. According to me, the English language functions as a bridge that is indisputable and develops directly based on cultural communication. For example, people these days are professional in English languages and can find tons of job opportunities in their career advancements. Moreover, companies provide job offers based on the English language proficiency of individuals and further are paid accordingly. Moreover, the English language can be used as a tool for enhancement of an individual's touch to every limit without being confused due to challenges presented by the world. In addition to that, the increased number of books and magazines that are published globally are in the English language. Thus, it can be concluded that English as a language is a necessity to be learnt and is a main medium when dealing with technologies, science and modern gossip. However, the society is suffering increasingly due to the persistence being offered by the English language as local language is being less considered by individuals. Thus, one should not neglect the unpleasant matters that might occur due to the lack of cultural adaptations. Thus, regulatory bodies should establish some rules that will initiate perseverance of this heritage. To summarize this topic, I would like to mention that the government should certainly implement some measures and laws that will help with preserving this local language as a culture.
