International space station

  1. The international Space Station (ISS) is a space station in low Earth orbit. The ISS programme is a cooperative project amid five participating space agencies:
    NASA (USA), Roscosmos (Russia), JAXA (Japan), ESA (Europe), and CSA (Canada). The possession and use of the space station are recognised by intergovernmental treaties and agreements.

However, not all the uses intended in the initial Memorandum of Understanding between NASA and Roskosmos have come to fruition.
