It also shows the world population over 60 in 2000 and 2050. Summarize the information in the following three tables and make comparisons where relevant.

The table given above displays the data about the number of people who are aged above 60 in the different six regions, namely: Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, Oceania, and North America. It shows the whole world population in the years 2000 and 2050.
In 2000, the population above the age of 60 was only 13%. The highest number of population in this age group is observed in Europe. In 2000, the population of this age in Europe was 22% and it is predicted to grow to 31% till 2050. The population of this age group is also the same in three countries: North America, Asia, and Oceania, and it ranges between 11% to 12%. This data was from the year 2000. In 20250, it is predicted that the population in these three countries will double in number when compared to today’s population.
Observing the data of Latin America, only 7% of the total population has aged more than 60 years and it is predicted that this population will reduce to approximately two and half times in 2050. The lowest population of this age in 2000 was observed in Africa and it is expected to grow at a faster rate and reach to 12% till 2050.
So, we conclude it by saying that the population of the age above 60 years will grow in all the six countries mentioned above but the growth rate will be more in the less developed countries.

The table drawn above shows the data of the public above the age of 60 years in six different countries, namely: Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, Oceania, and North America, in 2000 and the same data is also predicted for the coming year 2050.
It can be clearly noticed that the population of this age group will significantly increase in 2050 when compared to the data of the year 2000. The lowest population of this age group is observed in Africa and the highest population is observed in Europe. In 2000, the percentage of the population above the age group of 60 is observed to be only 5% and it is predicted to be increased to 12% till it reaches 2050. The 22% of population of this age group in Europe was observed in 2000 and it will significantly increase to 31% in the year 2050. The 11% population of the same age group is the same in the two countries: Oceania and North America. Their population will increase to 22% and 26%, respectively in the year 2050.
It can be concluded by saying that the percentage of the population will rise when we move from the data of the year 2000 to the year 2050. There will be significantly more rise in the population of the less developed areas.

It is clearly studies that the percentage of the population more than the age of 60 years is minimum in Latin America and Africa at the range of 5% to 7%. This percentage is almost the same in three countries: Oceania, North America and Asia and it remains almost stable at 11%, 11%, and 12% respectively. It is predicted that this percentage will increase in the year 2050. The percentage of this population is observed to be maximum in Europe as it is doubled compared to the previous areas.
In 2050, this percentage will significantly increase with different factors for each country. Here, the least population will be in Africa and Latin America which is less than 20%, and the highest will be observed again in Europe.
