Band 7 IELTS Essay

The viewpoint of children working for money is delicate and complicated. It is challenging to determine who has the authority to determine if child labour is "bad" or "useful." The benefits of "learning" will also be viewed differently by different people; for instance, teachers and manufacturing owners will undoubtedly have different concerns.

The type of work done is a key factor. Young children working on a factory assembly line, for instance, are less likely to be "learning" than older kids volunteering in an elderly home. Additionally, there are matters of health and safety to take into account. It is a sad reality that many employers may prefer to use children's services solely to save money by paying them less than adults, and it is important to prevent this kind of exploitation. There is a strong likelihood that the working children will be influenced by the many types of individuals they interact with, some of whom will steer them in an evil direction.

For instance, the majority of the children that work in the factory begin using drugs and smoking tobacco at a relatively young age. Some children work full-time jobs to support their families, which utterly destroys their ability to learn. However, youngsters labour in many nations because their families require any additional revenue, no matter how tiny, to survive. It is quite difficult to say that children today should not make such a contribution to the family's income when this was undoubtedly the situation in many industrialised nations in the past. In many circumstances, a working child is the only wage earner in the family. Due to the importance of their support, they are unable to quit their employment, regardless of how dangerous they are.

However, I'd like to draw the conclusion that few parents would decide to place their kids in full-time, paid employment in a better economic climate. Children can gain these skills by working small, part-time jobs or even completing unpaid, but unquestionably valuable, duties like helping their parents around the house if learning responsibilities and work experience are thought to be vital.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Globally, children are involved in a number of sectors and working to earn a living. Some of the population will argue that it is inappropriate. However, others will accept and mention that it is a way of preparing them for the future. This essay agrees with the viewpoint that working children are shaped for their future challenges. Moreover it will also talk about the challenges that they face due to lack of educational opportunities and working at a young age.

It is often highlighted and has been a major argumentative point for the population that children working before the age of 18 is unethical. Moreover, working prior to reaching a certain age damages the student's capability in academic performances. This can be addressed to t7eh fact that they are pressurised in order to perform both in academics and professional lives. For instance, a survey by the UK Children’s charity quoted that students that did part-time jobs mostly scored poor marks in their academics. However, those specifically concentrated over academics scored more in comparison to the latter. However, in my opinion, lessons that these students learn while they are working are mostly invaluable.

Working part-time jobs will help you with character development. Children can learn the effectiveness of hardwork in one's life. Moreover, it teaches them the importance of discipline. For instance, a teenager that considers spending a few hours on the weekends performing a part-time job will help them acquire social skills. This will be a valuable lesson for them both in their life and academics. Thus, I don’t believe that there is any basis for concern about how part-time jobs affect the academics of children.

To summarise, I believe that gaining a little on-job experience will turn out to be valuable for the children. This prepares for the long-term challenges that they might face in their upcoming future. Moreover this also assists students with educational goals and addressing concerns of others.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

Since the past few years, life has become challenging for the majority of individuals globally. It has been increasingly seen that kids in order to support their families have started indulging themselves into part time jobs. Moreover, with the ever increasing living expenses, it has become hard to even address the basic necessities of life. In some of the cases, children with no guardians are forced to work part-time.

Therefore children visiting places to work has become one of the challenging factors in this modern era. There have been increased cases of child labour in the past few years.

For those who don't want to attend school, those who want to engage in trade and commerce, carpentry, blacksmithing, or any other craft-related vocations, I highly encourage the tradition of working. Early paid employment is particularly beneficial since it will give children the skills and experience they need to manage a successful business. Consider a young child whose parents want him to run the family blacksmith shop and send him to school to get a decent education but are unable to afford the cost. This child can end up doing more harm than good for the family. He would eventually grow more irritated and be unable to manage the company as he ought to have.

On the other hand, if a child grows up in a difficult situation or in poverty, having obligations to them is always rudimentary. In this case, the family's financial situation compels the child to participate in a paid job. Fortunately, working as a child gives you a wealth of valuable experience. If the youngster was endowed with any entrepreneurial abilities, this experience greatly aids in the establishment of one's own industry and gives one the chance to employ those who are in need. In addition, learning is quite helpful and important in this situation. He may, for instance, use his knowledge and experience to figure out any difficulty on his own.
