Food is an important part of every person's life and shapes their way of living. But since the beginning of time, it has been noticed that the traditional meal is disappearing and being replaced by foreign cuisine. It has a bad effect on families and society. The aforementioned occurrence is one I wholeheartedly concur in, and I'll explain why.

First of all, individuals no longer eat cooked meals. But rather frequent restaurants for quick meals due to the abundance of just-food kinds that are available today that weren't available in the past. In fact, it is well known that traditional bread is thought to take longer to make than modern cooking methods. Additionally, people used to gather in their homes to share handmade meals and celebrate small victories like birthdays and anniversaries in the past. Today, they get packages online instead because this tradition has completely disappeared. For instance, the number of fast food restaurants is expanding like grass due to a rise in demand. Whereas the traditional bread shops are closing. These eating practices are causing several health problems and are sharply raising the incidence of diseases including high cholesterol and blood pressure. Unaware of the consequences, a sizable portion of the population craves and supports western cuisine in order to increase the variety of their diet. Many bucolic people have experienced a lack of humanity as a result of their inability to connect with one another and their tendency to maintain a distance. As an illustration, a nation like India, which is renowned for its abundance of nutrient-dense foods. It is currently dealing with the problem of packed food demand, which is obviating the need for the market to carry the outdated products. As an example, people choose burgers over dosas, despite the fact that south Indian food is known for its nutrition and other advantages. And its popularity is declining nationwide. To sum up, it is clear that people around the world crave foreign foods, it has reduced demand for conventional foods and exacerbated people's health problems.

Globalisation has resulted in a massive influx of foreign fast food chains into emerging countries' domestic markets. Given that it is replacing the local families' home-cooked meals. A portion of the population thinks it is having a negative impact on the communities and families who live there. I wholeheartedly concur with that as well.

These foreign food monopolies' most significant flaw, in my opinion, is that they demand exorbitant prices for the food they supply. Global fare is expensive by nature, including burgers, pizza, and even a bag of French fries. These international brands actively promote them in regional markets. As a result, their production cost skyrockets. As a result, it raises the cost of such foods. Consumers are ultimately responsible for carrying this load. While meals prepared at home include locally farmed ingredients, require no advertising, and are therefore much less expensive to manufacture and consume. Additionally, the nutritional worth of these processed foods is something else to think about. These foods lack the majority of the micro and macronutrients that are vital for human health. The majority of them contain high levels of saturated fats, which are known to have high cholesterol levels and cause obesity. They are also loaded with dangerous substances like AJINOMOTO, which the companies use as flavour enhancers. Hence, making them delicious and appealing to indulge in. However, this is not the case with native foods, such as locally cultivated pulses, grains, or legumes, which have substantial protein and fibre contents. Fast food has no health benefits while being tasty to eat. According to the above considerations, I would like to state unequivocally that it has a negative impact on the local population. Mainly, because international fast food is expensive and deficient in nutrients. Therefore, it is beneficial to indulge in regional specialties in order to maintain good health and avoid illness.

Foreign junk food has mostly displaced the traditional American supper in much of the country, which is bad for communities, families, and children. I wholeheartedly concur that people's health has been negatively impacted by excessive consumption of harmful foods. There are many factors that contribute to a big percentage of individuals, especially young people, substituting fast food for traditional foods.

The primary reason is that today's students must travel outside of their hometowns to pursue higher education. And the cultures of those new locations may differ. Students are forced to adapt to the new culture as a result, which occasionally requires them to alter their eating habits. International foods take the place of the local cuisine's traditional dishes as a result. For instance, it could be challenging for a vegetarian to maintain his customary diet. Especially if he travels for higher education to a country where the primary meal of the day is not vegetarian. Furthermore, the growth of the fast food industry has had a negative impact on communities in a number of ways in addition to changing people's eating habits. First, the importance of cultural meals is diminished to the point where the younger generation has never even experienced them. Because individuals now often add snacks and other world cuisines as part of their main meal at both public and private festivities. Similar to this, at gatherings where food from many cultures is served, people can learn about one another's traditions. These are often overlooked nowadays. As a result, the modified eating system causes cultural decline on a global scale. To sum up, the rate of replacing nutritious foods with meals that are heavy in calories is increasing day by day in many cities. It alters human wellbeing and poses a threat to both health and cultural identity. Consequently, the government should implement the necessary measures to stop the cultural loss.
