Topic: The spread of a ‘global language’ such as English will threaten national languages. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Model Answer 1

In the modern world English is gaining huge popularity. People these days believe that this might lead to an extension of the local language. While other people believe that it is acceptable and even may result in the positive development of the country in many fields. I partly agree with the letter due to the following reasons.
People believe or claim that the loss of language is just a tip to Da is the way to the tip to the extension. But not only does this help to diminish language but it is also a cultural and economical loss. Fax is shown that many countries like Thailand, have adopted international language. Hence they have generated a huge amount of profit through their travel and tourism industry. People tend to visit more due to the cultural ethnic city and the high adaptability of people. This helps remove the difficulty in communication with local people and people or get attracted to their hospitality.
I agree that only by studying the King's language, English people in third-world countries do not enjoy significant growth. But it will provide them a chance to extend the market and learn good culture and expect to grow economically. Countries like Britain, and America have a wide culture in the city. At the same time, through this global language, countries can promote their culture. People fall in love, through the discovery of their people, their way of thinking, and also the way of surfing information.
This is undeniable that in a survey it is seen that there are 3 to 4 languages that are dying. This is only because the native speakers are. The government can take steps to save their languages and culture through various training programs or indigenous textbooks. Lastly, this can be considered that each language in each nation has its language which the government should take attention to. Observing international languages cannot only bring life to local languages but also contribute to global ones. This would determine which country both economically and culturally.

Model Answer 2

English is gaining popularity in the modern world. People believe that this trend might cause the possible extension of the national languages of every country. While other people believe that even the popularity of the English language is a development that would help their country in many ways. I agree with the latter part of the following reasons.
People even claim that the loss of language is just the tip of the iceberg. But not only the nation forgets its language but its cultural and economic situation as well. The truth regarding this is not well established. There are different facts that show that countries like Singapore, by adopting the international link language, have attracted a huge population for their tourism. They have even generated a huge profit through the same. Many visited wild wild wilds worldwide attracted to the people who are who have high adaptability and hospitality. Some people believe that falling in love with a nation‘s culture and language helps them discover the people, the way of thinking.
One cannot deny that according to the monthly social service, there are about 3 to 4 languages across the world which are dying out. The reason is that due to the increase in the small size of native speakers, the languages are dying out. In this case, the authorities must take action to import money into linguistic programs or training. They can also use indigenous textbooks, and the languages of their country to survive.
Lastly, it can be considered that the language of this nation receives more attention than the government. The positive aspect is that an international language can be observed as a negative language. This can contribute to global aspects and enrich the country economically and culturally.

Model Answer 3

English is one of the six official international languages and is spoken almost all over the world. The other ones are – French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, and Chinese. With technology growth, the smaller places of the world are getting connected like never before. With this, English is gaining even more popularity than it ever did.
English texts and literature are being read worldwide too. Even the texts in the other regional languages are being translated to English for the consumption of the mass. It is safe to say that at this point, the English language is ahead of any language spoken in the world.
What makes English so popular is its flexibility and adaptability. Even though the language is spoken throughout the world, the English of one region is quite different from the other. English has many dialects which makes it different from most other languages. Some of the dialects are so pronounced and so well versed that they have developed into branches of English.
It is not just the accent that makes its way into the language, but even the pronunciation and grammar. In fact, English is full of words and phrases adopted from other languages.
The major two divisions of the English language are British English and American English. These two branches have many differences, which include words, pronunciations, and even spellings. British English is more spread throughout the world than the latter, mainly due to the British and other European countries colonizing several countries. Leaving their languages behind while leaving.
Apart from the main British Isles itself, the language is spoken in Australasia, Africa, and Asia too. It has six variants in the West Indies, British Isles, Africa, India-Pakistan, Australasia, and the Far East, and they have their own variations. The West Indies has Jamaica and Barbados; the British Isles has Iris, English, Scottish, Anglophones Africa, and East Africa the Far East has Malay and Chinese.
