Band 6 Answer
The table chart gives information regarding the number of passengers traveled through three German airports during 2007 and 2012. Amongst the three German airports, it can be inferred that Frankfurt was the busiest airport with highest number of passengers and Berlin Tegel has seen improvement in the number of passengers through the years.
In the year 2007, Frankfurt served 36.5 million travelers while Dusseldorf and Berlin Tegel served 27.2 million and 17.3 million travelers respectively. The passengers in Dusseldorf saw an increase till 2009 and from then on, it went downhill till 2011, only to rise up in 2012. Dusseldorf had seen the highest number of travelers at 48.2 million in the year 2009. The passengers in Frankfurt were at 36.5 million in 2007 and in the upcoming years, it has seen consistent increase till 2012. Frankfurt had seen the highest number of travelers at 69.3 million in 2012. The passengers in Berlin Tegel were at 17.3 million in 2007 and it rose in the next 3 years, only to remain constant in the last 2 years. Berlin Tegel had seen the highest number of travelers consistently at 43.3 million in 2010, 2011 and 2012 respectively.
Band 7.5 Answer
The data in the table provides the comparison of travelers of three main German airports from 2007 to 2012. As per the table analysis, it is seen that the highest number of passengers used Frankfurt airport.
There are minor fluctuations in the data of other two German airports. As per the given data, thirty six and half million passengers used Frankfurt airport in the year 2007, twenty seven million passengers used Dusseldorf airport and seventeen million passengers used Berlin Tegel airport. The little fluctuations are seen in the years 2010 and 2011 in all the three major German airports. In the year 2012, Frankfurt airport had seen the highest number of passengers while 43-46 million passengers used the other two airports namely Dusseldorf and Berlin Tegel airports. Overall, it is seen that more travelers used German airports in the year 2012 than any other year previously. Amongst all the three airports, Frankfurt airport has witnessed highest number of passengers compared to Dusseldorf and Berlin Tegel airports.
Band 8 Answer
The above table provides clear indications regarding the number of travellers in the three different German Airports who travelled to different places from 2007 to 2012.
Analysing the table carefully, it can be found that Frankfurt Airport had the mosr number of passengers travelling from the airport. However, for the other two German Aiports there are minor differences between the number of passengers travelling. Based on the data in the table, 26 and half million passengers made use of the Frankfurt airport in 2007, 27 milluon for the Dusseldorf Airport and only 17 million for the Berlin Airport. There are little differences that can be further seen in the years of 2010 and 2011 for all the airports in Germany. In 2012, Frankfurt had the highest number of passengers travelling from the aiport to other places with 69.3 million passengers who made use of the airport. Comparatively, Dusseldorf had 45.6 million passengers and Berlin had 43.3 million passengers travelling from these airports in 2012. Although the latter two airports do not show major differences, they are highly differentiated from the number of passengers travelling from the airport of Frankfurt.
