To achieve something in life fills one with utmost confidence and happiness. I know how it feels as recently I managed to clear an interview for my dream job in a multinational company. The company is well recognised by everyone in my circle and people who worked there boast about it. I would always picture how corporate life must be in that organisation when my friends would vaunt about it. I was initially nervous about appearing for the interview. I had no experience of being interviewed before. My friends encouraged me and suggested taking my chances. I researched a lot about what to expect in the interview and I think that paid off. Since I pursued my degrees from a top university in the country and have been active members in the college clubs, I ensured not to flaunt it. I was my real self and handled every question with utmost honesty and confidence. I think the company too could see through that and that is why they selected me. I am so excited to join the organization, learn, contribute and grow with them. On a lighter note, I too can join my friends lauding appreciation to the company through my experience in the same.

Topic: Write about the importance of simple living.
Model Answer

In modern times, living has found a new definition. It does not just mean surviving, it means living luxuriously. To do that, people fall prey to the material trap. The more they accumulate wealth, the more they vault its possession. The need of the hour however is to understand that we all are a speck of dust in this infinite universe. No matter how much we think we have become successful or brag about our achievements, in the end the ultimate sophistication lies in living a simple life. It has several advantages that must be realised by every individual. To begin with, a life that is decluttered helps us to focus more on what we really want. Just because someone lauded about an expensive handbag, we too spend money on it. We must pause and ask ourselves if we really want that. The second step in leading a simple life is it makes us aware of the difference between need and want. Even if we want something, it might not be necessary that we need it too. It eventually leads us to self-actualisation. It also leaves us with more time to be creative and invest time in things we are really passionate about instead of wasting energy in showing off. It is said that simple living is high thinking and that is why we all must aim to lead a life that is filled with values than self-conceit.
