Topic: Describe your favorite food item

Sample Answer:

Being a foodie, there are many foods that I like. But one of the food items that I absolutely love is pizza. It is my go-to food for any occasion. I love the tantalizing smell of the pizza once it is taken out of the oven.

There are many bistros and fast food chains that offer pizzas with different toppings and bases. From the traditional refined flour (maida) to whole wheat flour, multi-grain, soy flour and oatmeal flour, there is also now a rising demand for healthy alternatives of pizza bases, which is quite fascinating.

Being a vegetarian I like my pizza with the traditional paneer and onion toppings. I also love baby corn, tomato or mushroom toppings. Infact, I love all vegetarian pizzas. It is intriguing to know that this food item has evolved from flatbreads with toppings in Naples, Italy in the 18th century. Pizza has now in fact become a favorite food item in many households. People usually order this food item for celebration or casual outings with friends.

Topic: Write about a journey that you remember well.

Sample Answer:

Fortunately I have been a part of several memorable journeys in life. However, there is one such journey that I still remember vividly. It was when I, with a couple of my friends, decided to visit the Grub fest. The Grub Fest is a popular food festival that is conducted across three cities i.e Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. The Grub Fest includes popular restaurants, an organic food market, music performances, and culinary workshops which intrigued us to visit. As I had never been to a food festival before, the Grub Fest sounded quite alluring.

Besides, the festival also had a dedicated area called the Grub Mile which had all the mini-food trucks. What further piqued our interest in teh fest was watching our food based films while devouring our favorite foods. We visited the festival in 2019, when it was held in Delhi. I traveled from Pune to attend the fest. I was awe-struck by the entire setup. As we stepped inside my friends and I could smell the tantalizing scent of the different spices, condiments. We spent almost an entire day at the fest. It was quite a fascinating journey for us.
