Sample Answer:

I enjoy indulging in a variety of leisure activities. Some of these include reading books, playing outdoor sports, and watching documentaries. However, I usually spend most of my time reading books as they help me to stay in a cheerful mood.

I developed the habit of reading books from an early age. I mostly enjoy reading thrillers, horrors or personal development books. Reading as we know has numerous benefits. Undoubtedly it helped me enhance my vocabulary, grammar and pen down some good articles or stories.

It also helps me to interact with some of my friends or colleagues to share opinions of a particular book or share interesting stories. Reading books has enhanced my knowledge and made me more confident. I have now developed a blog on which I frequently post some interesting short stories and articles related to personality development.

I believe reading is a wonderful habit and to some extent makes us bright. To me reading has been extremely advantageous and I believe has made me more knowledgeable on certain aspects. It is a leisure activity that I enjoy the most and will stay forever.

Sample Answer:

Different societies have different leisure activities. For example in my country a number of leisure activities are popular among the masses. To name a few I would say, people in my country enjoy playing sports, watching movies or TV programs, going on picnics , fishing, reading, traveling and so on. These help people to remain active and sanguine in today’s time when we are accustomed to a stress-filled life.

Of course the leisure activities vary depending on a particular weather. For example going on a picnic is something people enjoy during summers or the spring season. Playing sports is another leisure activity that people enjoy any time of the year. People love traveling during different times of the year. I personally love traveling. Besides, refreshing and rejuvenating our minds traveling helps me be more positive and hopeful towards life.

People have varying degrees of relief when indulging in leisure activities. For me it is a way to less sanguine about the struggles of life. Thus, it is sufficient to say that leisure activities are assured extracurriculars that help people be optimistic, buoyant and confident.
