Topic: Write About How Keeping Pets Is Good For Children

Sample Answer:

There have been several reports of comparisons on the pros and cons of children keeping and not keeping pets. I believe that keeping pets around young children is extremely beneficial. Moreover, some people also argue that pets can cause injuries or fatalities to children. However, I feel that these are slightly exaggerated accusations. Parents usually keep pets that are kid-friendly like dogs or cats. I myself had a dog for 5 years. I believe that if pets are kept for a longer period with younger children it has numerous psychological benefits. They can help with children’s psychology and growth. It was also suggested in a report that younger children that have grown up with pets show less signs of aggression. Mental growth of children is also affected as young children indulge in interesting activities and also empathize with their pets deeply. Undoubtedly, I do not see any harmful effects of keeping pets with young children. Instead I believe keeping pets nurtures good qualities in children. Thus, parents should consider all these benefits and decide accordingly.

Topic: Describe A Volunteer Work Experience You Have Had.

Sample Answer:

Since my school days I have been a part of several volunteer work. I was even awarded an appreciation certificate for my volunteering work for a quinquennium. Today I would like to talk about one such experience. I had decided to volunteer for the poor and the needy in my city. So I packed up a few books, clothes, shoes and anything that I could donate. I also encourage my family and relatives to donate anything useful to help the needy. Infact, I also set up a juice stall to sell fruit juice so that I could additionally buy nice gifts for the needy. I believe that India has many people suffering from poverty and the lack of opportunities. If I could help even in the slightest possible way, I feel I am able to do something for the poor and the needy. Also, I was bored from my studies, so I decided to do some additional volunteer work. Anyhow, I was happy about it as it helped me bring a smile to these helpless children. These were the moments that I cherished the most during my volunteering period.
